Max was fantastic - he was extremely responsive, on time, and communicative with me during the entire process. We had our furnace break at a rental property and while others were charging $100-150 to even come out to diagnose the problem, Max came and didn't charge us anything. In the end, the furnace started working again but I really appreciated his attitude through it all.

We would definitely recommend him again!!

Fixed our furnace. Knew exactly what was needed. Was very professional and thorough. I always prefer to work with someone who has their own business versus a larger firm as I believe there is more vested interest in a satisfied customer. I will definitely use Max again whenever needed. Very fair and reasonable. Highly recommended.

The quality of work was OK, the guy worked quickly, but the price was very high for the work that he did. Also I did not care for his attitude. Had no manners, was very unhappy when I asked him to take off his shoes inside of my house, did not want to explain what the problem with my pipe was, just threw a few short words and left. Really? is that a service that I get for $600 that I paid? This is really a one stat review, I just don't like giving bad reviews to small businesses.

On 8/26/2018 we contacted this company for a emergency blockage. He ran a cable through our line and cleaned out blockage, 15 feet. I paid $525 for this.

He advised me he was going to return and run a camera to locate the problem. I contacted him via text message (saved snap shot photos) and he never came by to run the camera. I contacted him multiple times and he stated he would come by on different dates. Each date he provided he NEVER came by. I never got a diagnostic of what the issue was and clearly feel like I got taken advantage of being desperate for the weekend and a woman. With all the five star rating you would think customer service would be prestige.

Anyway called him up, he responded very quickly, took care of my line backup and out the door in no time. Its so hard to find competent and reliable contractors, people etc. Toby the plumber is the BOMB...

Max is the BEST!!! My husband and I are very very happy with him. He came over first time on a Saturday morning with no complains and helped to diagnose our problem. Then today he helped us all day to hook up a very complicated grill and he discovered a gas leak which was soon solved by PG&E as well. We highly recommend him to anyone that needs his service.

Maximus is the plumber to call when the other plumbers tell you your problem can't be solved. I am so grateful to Betto and Max for having the patience to figure out the right part that was needed to mate a new pipe with my 40 year old shower pan. The last two plumbers each told me I just needed a new shower pan, which was going to cost thousands extra. Maximus showed up at 10, figured out the brand required, found the part at the plumbing store, and had a new drain fully installed by 1. They're both the most ethical and most skilled plumbers I've dealt with.

After reading the reviews it seems like Max delivers solid work. Unfortunately, I didn't experience the same quality of work with Toby.

Context: hired to recaulk the bottom of my shower and bathtub faucets for a Wed 10am appointment.

Timeline:
- 9am on that Wed received a call from front office saying that he could not come today and they asked to reschedule for tomorrow (Thurs) at 1:30pm.
- Thurs 1:30pm no one shows up.
- 2:30pm I message them asking for an update and they tell me that they are able to move the appointment later in the day closer to 5pm
- 5:15pm get a call saying that he on his way
- 5:30pm - Toby shows up at

Total cost $225 for 30 min of work (I supplied the materials so this was just for labor)

Issue:
He ended up chaulking approx 60% of the shower and only 2 of the 3 bathtub faucets. My husband ended up finishing the job after he left.

Overall, I was disappointed in the thoroughness of the work and would not recommend this plumber.

Max installed a shower valve that I had purchased. Couldn't have used more than $75 worth of copper pipe and fittings. In and out in two hours - $680. After he was gone I had to bury pipe further back in the wall before tiling and reset the valve which did not face straight forward.
I don't know what to say.
