Super expensive. They never diagnosed the problem I was having with my electric water heater. They changed a valve and told me if it doesn't work to change the shower head which I did after what they did didn't work. When I called them back they told me they were going to charge me for a return visit. I eventually had the problem diagnosed and turned out to be a faulty unit. Expensive lesson learned.

My friends at Mauerhan Plumbing have been coming to my house for years. They installed and service a flash water heater, fixtures, etc... and I can't say enough nice things about them. Starting with the first point of contact when I call and extending until the service is complete, everyone is nice , professional, conscientious and honest about the work they do. They have and will be my first call

I have been using them at my apartment complex for over 30 years.....I recommend them to all.
Bruce, the owner was sitting at his Thanksgiving Day dinner table back in the late 90's and our whole apartment complex lost hot water the same evening.
I called the emergency line and somehow connected to Bruce (owner).........This man got up from his ThanksGiving Dinner table and came all the way to Pasadena to access the problem....AND restored our hot water tanks to normal operating.
I have been using Mauerhan since!!!!!

These people are the thing nightmares are made of. Rather than work with a customer over work gone bad, they deny any wrongdoing and come after you with tooth and nail. They blame your faucet for being old. My question is if it is old, why bother working on it from the get go? Why take on the job? All my faucet needed was a set of cartridges, which I provided. The plumber they sent over obviously did not know how to work on the brand I had. He left the handles loose causing both handles to shift positions and to leak. In addition, he stripped the internal part of the left handle rendering it damaged. A second visit repositioned the right handle but still left both loose. They refused to correct and tighten the left side because they damaged it. They had the nerve to offer to come back for further repairs on the handle for additional fees. Overall, this company has no integrity and was a nightmare to deal with. What they are good at is crazy making and demonizing the injured party. They resort to character assassination. They are very good at it, and the powers that you, the aggrieved customer, think are there to protect you are just as corrupt. Please be warned and save yourself from grief. Overall the system is rigged, and these people are dangerous. They are corrupt, including the system. I just happened to get caught up in it, naively thinking that honesty can prevail. Shame on this company and the misery they are capable of imposing on people rather than showing integrity and willingness to correct their mistakes!

We have a historical home with many ""small"" things going wrong often. We have had a lot of bad luck with plumbers not wanting to come out at all for small jobs OR trying to cash in big time on us.

Maurhan came out, charged fairly for the hour, worked fast, and got a solution for us that was creative and inexpensive.

We will be using this company for a long time to come! We findally found an honest and quick plumbing company.

I was so happy with the guys who came out. They fixed everything, plus gave me some advice on a few things. (Sort of in their department but nothing they could technically do themselves, but I appreciated the advice so much.) They were nice, polite, professional, personable and fast! I don't know why I waited so long to call them because it ended up being a LOT less expensive that I imagined it would be. I can not reccomend them more. A+++++

You learn how good a plumber is when the job isn't simple. We had a thermostatic shower cartridge that failed. When Juan from Mauerhan opened it up, it turned out that the old cartridge had sheared off and more than half was frozen inside. The solution on the factory website looked iffy and required overnight soaking in vinegar. In just a couple of hours, Juan was able to remove the old cartridge using a mini Sawzall without damaging the valve casing. He installed the replacement cartridge and the shower works great. Saved us a big hassle and a lot of money! Really skilled craftmanship! A truly professional job.

Worse service ever. Be very careful not only are they extremely expensive but they also lie about their rates. Worst work ethics. DO NOT HIRE. They will argue with, yell at you, and make you pay for stuff you've never been told. They even charge you for the tools and machines they use. You'll thank me later

We've been using Mauerhan for years now. There's a reason for that. They are always helpful, neat, courteous and do a great job. We've had work done by several different Mauerhan plumbers and across the board, it's the same.
