Had a leak in my refrigerator water line. Looked on Yelp for a plumber and chose Matthews Plumbing because they were local and had good reviews. Called for appointment around 11:00 and they were at my house by 3:00. Very knowledgeable and quick. Gave me options for my issue and very particular about things being done correctly. Super nice on the phone and in person. Highly recommend for any plumbing needs.

It was pure coincidence that we met Matt while we were at a plumbing supply store and he was available to install 2 water heaters for us with really quick turnaround. I'm normally pretty cautious about working with folks I just met but Matt's personality, forthcoming nature, willingness to answer questions and positive reviews on Yelp sealed the deal. I'm so glad we went with our gut. Dalton wasn't just on time, he was a little early getting started on our job. He's a whiz when it comes to water heater installations! He was just like Matt in a lot of good ways: friendly, personable, very knowledgable. He was quick and efficient and kept up great conversation with my fiancé as he installed the water heaters. Matt popped in to check on progress, deliver and get additional supplies, provide guidance, etc. They work well together. I was just as impressed with the professionalism of the team: LuAnn texted and/or called me to keep me informed of progress. They pulled all the permits as required by our city and LuAnn didn't send an invoice until she received confirmation that the water heaters had been through and passed inspection by the city. We were IMPRESSED!! Nobody else who did estimates even mentioned permits. We paid with a credit card and Matt and LuAnn were very straightforward about the small and reasonable up-charge for the credit card processing fee. The experience couldn't have been better and we're glad to have found our go-to plumber! We'll definitely be calling Matthews Plumbing again!

Our shampoo bowels started backing up at our salon (Pure Salon in Irving .We are an Aveda Concept Salon). These guys were amazing! They made sure they were here bright and early when we opened and had our shampoo area up and running in under an hour! They were very professional and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. I highly recommend them.

Had an emergency leak in my W/D connection box, and thankfully was able to find Matt via yelp to help me out on the fly. To make matters worse, I wasn't even home.

It didn't matter though bc i had someone let them in, and they were able to get on site and repair the issue within a few hours. Solid pricing too! (Didn't ruin my weekend :)

Definitely my new go-to in the DFW area for any plumbing needs.

Atmos Energy came out & changed the old meter however when they turned the gas back on a small leak was found which meant they would have to turn the gas back off & I would need to call a plumber who handled this kind of issue. Matthews Plumbing was recommended to me by another plumbing company I had previously used who did not work with gas lines. I called the company & they were kind enough to come right out & access the issue. Talking with the owner he confirmed they had discovered a leak in the yard & in the house. He gave me an estimate over the phone which was more than I expected however i know plumbing problems can get expensive. But to my horror when I received the bill it was about $1400 more than we had discussed. On top of that his men never bothered to wipe their muddy feet & left mud all over a freshly cleaned carpet. I talked with Matt regarding both issues & he did offer to call a carpet cleaning company to clean the carpet at MY expense. He said things like this happen. I am pleased with their promptness & work however I am very disappointed regarding the excessive charges & muddy carpet. In addition, since the bill was so much more than I expected I asked if he would take a credit card. To which he replied he would however he would have to add an additional 4% to the bill. This only added insult to injury on top of the other issues. I will pay his bill & clean my own carpet but not use this company again.

I can honestly say I have found the plumbing company I trust. He offers competitive rates, thorough work, and is dependable. I didn't have any delays with my water heater replacement. During the replacement, an unexpected repair was required but we made a plan and his team delivered. All of the 5 star reviews are speaking the truth. He is trustworthy, has the knowledge, and provides a great service. He will be my first call and only recommendation for all things plumbing.
