Our heat broke on a Sunday and we had a technician out to our home within an hour. Unfortunately we needed a new furnace (we knew we were on borrowed time). The next day a temporary unit was put in so we would have heat. The new units came in about a week, they sent 5 technicians and did a great job. So far the units are great - quiet and hopefully as efficient as they were advertised to be!

This place has terrible customer service. Stay away! They don't return to make repairs and if you need one they don't return phone calls. My furnace was improperly installed and the air conditioning has a Freon leak., as advised by a reputable contractor. They Claim to be Pritchard h&c , HAA. Deception At it's best.

Stay away from this company - they are jerks. I hired them for a simple job. They sent someone who could not complete the job, so they had to come back the next day, when I could not be there. When they did come back, they put their sticker over my furnace service record (they did not install the furnace) sticker on the furnace. This is a minor irritation. The reason I say they are jerks is that they wandered through my house to the where the second furnace is, and put their sticker on that furnace as well. They had no business wandering through my house to where the second furnace is located - it had nothing to do with the contracted job. I called to complain, and the person who answered the phone asked if I was sure it was their stickers, as if I could not read. Stay away!!

Can't and won't give this poorly run and unprofessionally run fiasco any stars at all.
Sent out a technician, and he quoted me 3,000 to reroute my gas lines. Unfortunately he had a family emergency and couldn't make it. I called, and NEVER got my call returned. Lazy and unprofessional staff all the way around. Go elsewhere if you want the job done right, this is NOT the place.

Just had a wonderful service call at my parents' home in Metro Detroit. Steve was top notch and took care with their the AC, Furnace and Humidifier. Before leaving the shop, he had checked what kind of special filter they needed and made sure to have it with him on the truck. He answered all of my questions and was just a great professional who we felt comfortable to have in our home. I also learned that over Christmas their furnace had died but Mastercraft was on top of it within hours and honored their warranty to have it all fixed quickly and easily. I recommend Mastercraft's HVAC services.

Avoid this company, installation nightmare. Installers couldn't answer questions about product, tracked mud and dirt into house and spilled some kind of liquid on carpeting. Used our furniture for ladders and weren't able to properly balance outside unit. Tried to call owner several times and he hung up on me. Dont have much good to say but am wondering about the quality of the installation.

Had Mastercraft come out to look at my furnace on 12-4-17 which wouldn't stay running. Service rep spent 5 minutes and said need a new furnace. I ask him to clean the furnace which he did and paid $164 for the service call and cleaning. 2 weeks later problem continued so I had another company come out. First thing he said was it needs a good cleaning. When I told him I had it cleaned he said it didn't look like anything had been done. He did a thorough cleaning, walked me through what he had done and the furnace has been operating great since then. Not only did Mastercraft try to sell me an unneeded new furnace , they did a bad job, if any, of cleaning it. Never use Mastercraft or refer them again!

Late night service call...quoted me $3300 to replace furnace rather than order the part and fix it. I got a second opinion before complete replacement, and Bob called to give me grief about performing due diligence before committing to a new system. Turns out the part and installation was about $300, but I also had to pay Mastercraft additional charges ($369.00 service call, heater rental and ""labor"" even though nothing was actually done). Why quote for a new system when a couple hundred dollar part would fix it? That's just bad business! I would not recommend this company to anyone I know!

Shirley, the woman who answers the phone, is rude and condescending.

I have a long-term relationship with Mastercraft: thousands of dollars spent on new heating and cooling systems for several residential and commercial properties; and maintenance/service contracts for each of these properties. But when I needed a service call for a commercial property (that is literally located down the street from their location), I was informed that they were too busy to honor their ""priority scheduling"" for service contract holders and they could get to it the following day. I guess they make more money taking service calls for new customers than taking care of customers with service contracts.
