As always, Master Plumbing did a great job at a very reasonable price. Max came to fix a clogged shower and did a great job. He was efficient, respectful, clean and, most importantly, the work was perfect. He even had a mesh drain cover which he gave to me in order to prevent the problem in the future.

It almost pains me to give good reviews to a plumbing business because I have been screwed so many times in the past, but I have now used Master Plumbing 4 times and each time I have been very pleased w/the quality of the work and the low price. I have never had any type of problem w/this company and I highly recommend them.

Best plumbing company in San Diego. Called them to my house and they came on time, explained what happened in great detail and were very respectful.

Most importantly they know the area I live in and knew what was going on without any destructive methods. This is the go to company in San Diego.

I probably should have waited a bit to write my review as I am updating this company to one star.

Basically, a few days ago, the company called my dad (who is located up in Northern California) to look for me. How they got his number is completely beyond me. As a grown person in their late 20s, I don't even use his phone number as my emergency contact. They couldn't have got his number with my credit card either as my finances are completely separate from his. Total mystery.

Anyways, back to the main point for this update. I called them back to see what was needed this afternoon. The lady on the phone stumbled around a bit saying that they did indeed had his number but had no idea how they got it or why they decided to call me. Um. What? After a few minutes she told me that they lost records of my payment.

Seeing as how my credit card transaction has already gone through, I told her that it already showed up on my credit card bill and that it has been paid for. She then asked me to send my credit card number over email or over the phone which is a terrible way to do business as it opens me up for potential fraud. Call me paranoid but these things do happen and it's better to be safe than sorry. Anyways, I asked them if they wanted to swing by my place to check my credit card number and that I would be home for the rest of the day. After another brief pause, she mentioned that she only needed the last 4 digits which I gave her. It also struck me as odd (after I hung up) that she didn't ask me what credit card company it was for.

While accidents do happen, I would be cautious about doing business with a company that sloppily loses their paperwork and would even suggest to put you at risk for identity fraud. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

They are fast & efficient. They don't give you the run around. They are good at keeping their appointment & will even call you in advance if they could come earlier. There is a $200 leak detection fee upfront, for using their leak detector device but if it is obvious they will not charge it, of course. MAX was our guy, very courteous, knowledgeable, he was able to answer all my questions. They are very professional. I will use their service again in the future. I even recommend them to my friends.

I have used Master Plumbing for several plumbing issues/repairs at my home: stopped up kitchen sink, main line leak, toilet supply line link, replacing all of the bathtub fixtures in my main bath. I have had very positive experiences each time: the plumber shows up on time, they are thorough, they clean up, they are really, really nice! They even like my dogs. :-) I especially have enjoyed working with Calvin and Tom from Master Plumbing. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing needs.

These guys are great!!! Sent out by our home owners insurance to deal with a busted water heater along with other contractors.... They were the only ones who showed on on time, dealt with the issue, had compassion for our situation and did not try to take advantage of us like the others. If ever in need of a plumber call Master Plumbing they won't let you done.

Wonderful! They set up an appointment for an estimate and/or to replace my water heater. Luis showed up exactly on time, gave me a reasonable estimate, and completed the work all in the same morning. He was clean, careful, and left the space cleaner than when he arrived.

I'd recommend Master Plumbing to anyone!

Unprofessional office staff, never gave me a receipt for the inspection, and never sent the leak report even though I have paid for it. On top of that the owner will not answer the phone or return calls. I see that they have some good reviews here but i suggest you look at their BBB record. Even though the BBB gives them a A+ rating look more closely at their complaint record. They sent someone out the day we called, New Years Eve. Tom arrived early within the time window they gave us. He knew his stuff and found the leak (although not good news for us) within an hour. He had to cut a section of drywall out, but kept it to a very small section and right where the leak was at. Although we will have to do much more to get our problem solved, Master Plumbing was A+ in what we had them come out here for. It was $200 to get the leak isolated, but we didn't get the run around and Tom really knew what he was doing.
