Called when needed to get gas line earthquake emergency shut off valve replaced. Had reported possible leak to PG&E who came out, confirmed leak, then shut off gas telling us we need to get repaired before they could turn it back on. It was the day after Christmas and nobody was available. Crystina of Mason Plumbing picked up and was an absolute angel doing everything she could to help. All of their people were busy that day so she gave me a few referrals and didn't rest until we got the issue resolved. You rarely run into people this kind and thoughtful so the least I can do is write a review and tell the world that these are good people and deserve our business. I know who to call the next time I have any plumbing issues. Thank you again, Crystina!

Cameron and his team are top notch. Two contractors we've worked with recommended his work, and we've had great success as well. We've used Cameron and his team for many projects now, from small (installing a garbage disposal and re-seating a toilet that had a failed wax seal), to large, such as installing a new gas line to the street so PG&E could install a new meter and upgrade our gas service. His pricing is fair, his work quality is excellent, and his response to requests is timely. They show up when they say they will, and when we had some unexpected changes to our gas line installation, Cameron came by on short notice to make sure we didn't miss our construction date with PG&E. Highly recommended. I only wish all contractors we've worked with were as good.

This will document an unfortunate experience with Mason Plumbing. I called them to clean a backup in my sewerline. Two men were at it for several hours without success, and since they did not know if the line could be cleared, I told them to stop. Thereafter, one of the service men read from a tablet that I owed him $ 615. I responded that I wanted a bill because on a previous call I had to make many calls to finally get a bill. The service guy called Cameron on the spot, and Cameron responded: ""you know where that goes"".

A few minutes later Cameron called me and said ""I heard that you don't want to pay the bill"" -
I'll have to contact my lawyer"". I responded:""I never said that, just send me a bill"". A week later I did receive a bill for $ 631 for 3 hours of work (2 guys @ 3 hrs = 6 hrs) The guys left and sewage was still overflowing. This is injury on top of insult.
Why did it take 6 man hours (and probably more if I hadn't stopped them) in an unlikely event of success. Moreover, their work habits left much to be desired as one of the guys was standing around most of the time.

Absolutely awesome service and great to work with. They answer calls immediately, schedule appointments immediately, and explain everything thoroughly. Had them out to replace our water heater and there was another issue we didn't see the first time and they were back the next day to look at and fix that problem. Couldn't be a bigger fan - highly recommend!

We had our hot water heater go out on Friday of Memorial Day weekend and even though we left a message at 2 pm - they called back ready to help..... so get this, even though they couldn't schedule us for the repair they walked us thru what we needed and Cameron came by with the replacement part so that the other plumbing service that could come out could fix it - otherwise we would have been charged for an evaluation visit with no part and it wouldn't have even gotten fixed !!!

We have since had Mason out to do plumbing work for us and they have been on time and under budget.

It is rare in this day and age that you truly get ""personalized"" service and a team that cares....

Extremely impressed with this company. Joe came out within an hour of my call to the office. He was professional, friendly and honest. He explained everything as he went and within 30min the drain was cleared and all is fine. I appreciate how mason plumbing quickly got me service and very thankful for Joe helping us. Thanks for being a great company and hiring nice honest people like Joe. I will be happy to use again when needed. Honest plumbers are hard to find and now we found one !

We are incredibly impressed with the kindness, intelligence, and conscientiousness of Joe who literally bailed us out. We have had a problem intermittently for several years whereby draining our downstairs bathtub leads to our upstairs shower and toilet backing up and overflowing. It reached crisis proportions this week. We had someone out yesterday who was incompetent, late, dishonest, expensive, and useless. Joe came out soon after we called this morning, diagnosed the problem within a few minutes, and quite quickly had the total problem resolved. We will be eternally grateful to Joe and Mason Plumbing, and will never think about using another company.
