I had a bad leak in my shower faucet. My fault I had gotten the part and never called my regular plumber to install it. He was away until the end of February but recommended Martel. So I had the part - a cartridge that had to be put in. That was done and they fixed my toilet which was running about once every hour. Cost me $695.They do cone in a timely manner, but two plumbers came. For this small a job? Rip off

I couldn't be happier with every aspect of Martel's team and services. After another company quoted an astronomical amount to replace our boiler, Kyle from Martel came by to give an honest and fair quote. Not only was it MUCH less, but he also gave us options so we could find the best setup for our needs.

A few weeks later and our new boiler is installed and working perfectly. The crew was quick and friendly, and made sure to show me how everything worked.

Even better, everyone involved from Kyle to those in the office to the crew was readily available, friendly, and easy to talk to.

Long story short: Martel is great and I strongly recommend them.

I had called Martel to replace a bathroom faucet. They sent a plumber and a helper. The helper was not an apprentice and had no plumbing experience. In his own words he was a chef. The customary charge for a job like this (very straight forward) is $175.00. The charged me $350.00. I guess the helper with no skills gets the same rate as the plumber??????

I wouldn't use Martel unless you expect to be overcharged!!!!!

The office responded immediately to my call. Gave me an appt. in two weeks. I needed a toilet replaced. Skylar and Mark came on time, treated me kindly, which meant alot, since things have not been going well for me. The were professional, polite and the work was done very quickly. They have helped me in the past also. They are the only plumbers to call.

A friend of a friend referred us to Dan at Martell plumbing. We were very happy with the service that he provided. He came out and installed a rinnai water heater within 3 hours, and left the garage cleaner than what it was before he started his work.

My old tankless water heater was blowing out fumes last Thursday and Eversource shut it down. Martell was responsive about getting out there and confirming I need a new one. They said they would get me an estimate the next day. I followed-up on Sunday when they gave me an exorbitant estimate to replace it. Since I was an existing customer (both home and business) they said they'd review the quote. They did come back a little cheaper late Monday night and said they needed to order the unit and would be out to replace Thurs/Fri. I asked if they could provide me a copy of the quote and the model number for the new tankless water heater on Tuesday morning. Here it is Wednesday and I still have not heard back from them. Having no hot water for a week is no fun, so I found a local plumber to get it done today. Sadly I'll probably still have to pay them for a visit with no results.
