Prompt, courteous, efficient. We recommend Mario's highly. The plumber arrived wearing a mask and was respectful of our property by putting on shoe coverings. He fixed our kitchen leak problem quickly and showed honestly by charging us slightly less than the phone estimate. Arrived within two hours of our call, in and out in less than an hour. We won't hesitate to use Mario's to our friends.

These guys were fantastic. Water heater begins to leak overnight and I notice on a Saturday morning. Call them at 12:30pm and they're at my door in half an hour, masked, gloved and ready to go. Quote within 5 minutes and they get to work. I have a fully installed water heater before 6pm. They even cleaned out the floor before installing the new one. Replaced and updated routing brackets. Took away the old one. Polite, transparent, pleasant, and honest. Final bill exactly as quoted, despite having to work a little harder to get a new bigger unit in. Highly recommend, especially since they are a local small business.

Someone working on cleaning our gutters managed to completely break an outdoor spigot on a Saturday afternoon. Water was pouring out. Desperately I called plumber after plumber, and everyone was booked. Got to Mario's and they told me they'd be here within an hour. 45 minutes later they were here - and within 15 minutes we had a new spigot installed and everything was great. Fast, efficient service with a reasonable price for the area and the time. Great job!

We can't sing enough praises about Mario! On Sunday night our shower would not turn off due to a broken piece of hardware. Luckily we were able to turn off our main water line and quickly reached out to plumbers. Mario called me early morning the next day and managed to fit us in his busy schedule! He was able to fix our shower after an hour. Mario showed up with a mask, gloves and wore shoe covers. He was nice, personable and worked quickly. We will definitely give Mario a call next time we have plumbing issues!

The p-trap under my bathroom sink started leaking. Mario responded quickly, gave me an estimate over the phone and told me I may also have a clog in the line. He was right. He cleared the clog, replaced the p-trap and everything is working well now. I would call him again.

Mario saved me about 6,000 dollars. Let me explain:

In the middle of my workday my toilets backed up. My fiancée called a plumber. He examined our pipe to the sewer, and showed us through the camera that the clay pipe had cracked. He offered to fix the pipe for $6,000. He charged us about $290 simply to come out.

The contractor who is building our ADU called Mario for us. Mario came out, ran the camera through the pipe, and showed us where the crack was. We could see tree roots clogging the pipe.

But, what Mario explained to us is that, since the blockage was under the sidewalk, Redwood City was actually responsible for fixing the problem. He explained our options: he could perform a flush for a fee, or we could call the city, and they might-or-might not fix the issue. The reason they might not fix it is that the pipe on our end wasn't up to code.

When I called Redwood City, they sent someone out who arrived in less than two ours, and unclogged the drain immediately, for free!

The downside is, Redwood City didn't actually fix the broken clay pipe. The technician said that the city wouldn't fix it unless they were having to stop by frequently to unclog the pipe.

The other thing I learned is that I have home warranty, and that they cover blockages such as the one we experienced. So, we really should have called the warranty people first.

I like Mario and I intend to use him when we build our ADU this winter.
