If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I called about 9:45 am and was told that Rob was just finishing up on a job and would be at my home between 10 and noon. He arrived, was most courteous, came in, asked if ""they"" usually went up on the roof to clean the drain. I said that that was usual. He checked the drain from the roof, came down, said that the drain was clear and it would then be in the trap. He brought in his equipment, went right to work, nicely cautioned me about what I was putting down my garbage disposal, cleaned up neatly, and left. If having a clogged drain can be considered a pleasant experience, it can....if your technician is as courteous and competent as Rob, not to mention speedy. Now, I am off to all the errands I had planned for today which I thought I would have to abandon as I waited for help. Great service, great price, great company!!

The Marin Roto-Rooter Team is the best! We had a toilet overflow in the late evening on this labor day weekend and they arrived promptly, fixed the problem and even followed up the next day to make sure everything was working properly. What can I say? Adam Gallagher is the man! We had a fairly complex and risky pipe excavation that we were required to do by the county. The problem was that the pipe went through our easement on our neighbors lot. And our neighbor misunderstood his legal obligations about the easement and caused one heck of a temper tantrum.

Adam was always the calm, cool professional and handled the unfortunate abuse and pressure from our neighbor during the process. With the town, arborists, and crazy neighbor watching, he went about his work, and successfully installed a new line near the roots of a redwood tree.

Adam is as good of a technical plumber as he is a solid professional. He didn't have to stay on the job because of obnoxious neighbors, but he did. And he saved the day!

I have no idea how root rooter is as a plumbing service because they never actually deigned to show up to my house. I understand that emergencies come up and they can't always meet their original estimate. That's fine. But, I actually gave you my number so that you could call me and tell me that you are not coming. That enables me to get on with my life rather than waiting for 12 hours on the off chance you might decide to show up.

Extra bonus points for the answering service who I called four times tonight who assured me you would still be on your way.

John is fantastic. This was my second call to a plumber for a clog in my kitchen sink. The first plumber not only didn't fix the problem but his diagnosis turned out to be wrong and costly. While Roto-Rooter's fees aren't inexpensive, I appreciate their fast availability and knowledge. John was able to clear the clog and diagnose some other issues that no other plumber (and there have been a few over the years) had addressed. He went above and beyond to solve our plumbing issues and for that it was worth every penny. Don't hesitate to call these guys for your plumbing needs.

Run the garbage disposal.... and both of the showers back up, toilets won't flush..??!! Food particles in the bathtub??!!! At least it wasn't poop.

I pulled out the sewer inspection report from when I first bought the place back in 2012.... checked homeowners policy, prepared myself mentally to be told that I need to replace the sewer lateral. Called my regular plumber, who knows me and my house, but was so desperate and worried that I started going down the Yelp list.

Tina answered my call, talked with me about the problem, gave me some advice about dealing with homeowners insurance. Said that someone could be out within a couple of hours.

Jared came out during designated time, Tina gave me a heads up right before he arrived, which was very nice and professional.

Turns out, I only needed a clean out. Jared ran a giant snake down the cleanout, a couple of hundred bucks later, my toilet is flushing better than ever!

Jared was super professional and helpful and took the time to explain and educate without being condescending. Overall, a great experience!

I am a Realtor and needed someone to perform a septic inspection and clean out on a property. Roto-Rooter was on time, professional, and surprisingly came in with a price lower than their original estimate!!! My clients were soooo happy.
