John Selhorst did a great job. He was very friendly as he abided by the 6-foot social distancing between people as he did his work. His professionalism and cheerful nature caused us to respect Roto-Rooter even more. He took care of our root intrusions at 8', 21', 35' and everything is running smoothly again, yay! He is also a good detective, experienced and observant. He advised running water in every p-trap monthly to keep it full of water and doing its job. I really like the tech upgrades that Roto-Rooter has adopted compared to 4 years ago (which was the last time we needed them to save us) ... they now text you a picture of the technician and a little bio to personalize the experience and let you know that they're on time and en route to your location. Nice!

OK, so everyone knows that my last review was negative. However, what a difference a week makes! I received a call last Friday from the manager of Roto Rooter. He told me that he just had learned of the issue with the cancellation of my appointment. He offered to have someone come out on Monday, but I couldn't take that day off. We agreed to Thursday and yesterday, in walked Joe the plumber. He was AMAZING! Knowledgeable, skilled, friendly, courteous...everything you'd want in someone doing work at your house. I am SO HAPPY with the service and appreciate all that Roto Rooter did to make this a happy experience. You have won my business FOR LIFE. I have already started telling friends how wonderful I was treated after a negative situation. You will be getting calls. You deserve it and I will not stop shouting it out. I have another job that was discussed with Joe and I'll be calling the office to schedule. THANK YOU!! You made me a 100% believer!

I appreciate the quick response from Roto Rooter in Novato. They came and cleared a plugged pipe which had caused a sink to back up and overflow when I was using another sink and didn't notice the flood throughout one area of my house. Such a relief! Thank you.

I recently had a plumbing problem my handyman could not fix. I called Marin Roto-Rooter in the morning and I was extremely happy both with their response to my call, the communication and coordination of the time the plumber would be there, their flexibility to call me when the plumber would be there and Fernando the plumber's quality of service. Fernando not only fixed my problem quickly but also was polite, respectful and helpful in suggesting what I could do to alleviate the problem in the future. Thanks to the woman answering the phone and her clear communication on the phone and to Fernando the plumber, I was able to get to my function a little late but appreciated everything they did to get the job done that day.

Roto rooter came out to my home for a sewer line problem and said they couldn't help us as they couldn't get past a certain point. I called for 2 days to see if they could do the work on replacing the pipe. I received no calls back.

Ok - after the popular plumbers who advertise on TV in San Rafael came out to deal with a simple case of blocked toilet and shower main drains over 2 hours late with attitude and couldn't get the job done - mistaking attitude for effectiveness - while leaving me with a disgusting mess all over my master bathroom due to their completely bass ackwards approach to the problem, I called Roto Rooter of Novato on a Saturday morning. They were pleasant and Mike C showed up early, cheer-y and asked the right questions right off the bat. After taking about 15 minutes, boom blockage gone - pipes flowing and nonfuss no mess. They were amazing and professional and more cost effective, let alone project effective, than the plumbing company alternatives. Thanks, Mike, for the good humor and better service. Well done!!

Hired them to do lateral work for our property. They gave the sewer district a video that was not complete or legible and broke our toilet while trying....gave us a bill and refused to accept responsibility. Incompetent and irresponsible.
