I have had a problem which began with 18"" of sewer backup in the basement. The guys who pumped it out and did remediation (a nationally-advertised company) told me I had a collapsed lateral line, which had caused the disaster. I started to work on that, and a friend who'd had experience with them recommended Maplewood Plumbing. Will came out and told me that the repair job wasn't one they're licensed for, but he recommended someone who could hydroflush and do a camera job on the bad line (essentially the equivalent of a cardiac catheterization). Those folks did their thing, then Will -- who didn't stand to make a penny on the job -- explained their results to me and was kind enough to call three people he recommended to do the work. I'd say he knows his stuff (this was a very unusual situation), and he went the extra mile for me even though there's no business in it for him. The next time I have a plumbing problem Maplewood Plumbing is the first place I'll call.

Very professional and got the job done right. We had a simple sewer job that turned out to be more complicated due to some old pipe. However the folks at Maplewood Plumbing communicated with us promptly, gave us options, and ultimately found a creative solution that saved us money over a traditional approach. They worked fast, which we appreciated since we were under a time crunch due to a home sale contract. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality plumber at a fair price.

Maplewood Plumbing was recommended to me by a coworker. I took ownership of a home just days before and had water leaking in the basement. They asked for photos and then the owner came to my house, free of charge, to look at the issue. This ensured the plumber had everything he needed to do the job. The plumber was very professional and did a good job. These guys are fantastic!!

Maplewood got a plumber out to the house ASAP when I had a plumbing emergency. It was a little pricey ($219 for one hour of service) but it was emergency service and I think that included some parts. The plumber was not the highest-tech guy but he got the job done.

I called Maplewood Plumbing to come out to repair some gas lines that our gas utility provider found while doing a line pressure test. They were very professional and upfront of the costs over the phone, giving me their hourly rate and the cost of an onsite inspection. While I'm sure it was competitive, at $159 for the first hour before any actual repair work would be done, I have decided to search else where, they did nothing wrong hence the 5 stars, just thought I would let others with a similar job need know of the approximate cost prior to calling, to aid their search.

I had a major plumbing issue with a rental property of ours in the City. I explained my issue to the receptionist and she had the owner, Will, call me back to discuss - I was already impressed. He explained that he did not specialize in the major outside work that I needed to have done (which again, I was impressed with his honesty) and he referred me to two reputable plumbers that specialize in the work that I needed done. I didn't get to use Maplewood Plumbing this time, however I will definitely use them in the future when I have inside work that needs to be done. I really appreciated the time he spent understanding my plumbing problem and the time he took finding the contact information of the referrals - thanks so much Will and Maplewood Plumbing!!!

We had Brad come and disconnect our sink/garbage disposal/dishwasher then reconnect after our countertops went in. Service was very professional and efficient and Brad did a great job and was very courteous. Even when calling to pay, I spoke with a woman, Nichole I believe, who was very friendly and provided great service.

Overall quality of the work and personal were great and price was fair - highly recommended!

When we first started renovating our kitchen last summer, we had a plumber come out and disconnect all of our plumbing and gas to the kitchen and do some permitted work to replace our illegal stack. I wish I could remember the guys name, but he was super nice, did all of the work for less than $600 and only took a few hours! We are doing most of the reno ourselves so I really appreciate it when someone can offer advice on how we can do some things ourselves and what to look for when things go wrong. I couldn't have been happier, we are still not done with the kitchen, but you can bet I'll be calling them back to hook everything back up when we are done!

I called Maplewood Plumbing & Sewer this morning, and they were able to fit me in this afternoon! Thank goodness it wasn't a huge plumbing issue,and they had it fixed quickly. I was charged their minimum service call fee. Nicole was very nice on the phone, she followed-up with me on status, which I truly appreciated, and I feel good to know that I now have a great plumbing company I can call on for future needs. HIGHLY recommend to everyone in the STL area.
