If i could give them 0 stars I would. They came to my house to do some work today which is halloween. They took the money and left my cesspool open. The worker said he would come back in an hour. 2 hours passed by and I called and said you guys said an hour where are you guys. The manager on the phone says theyre at another job and they didnt say another hour. One how would this manager even know what they said he wasnt there to witness it? Obviously hes gonna believe whatever his worker says but if he had any customer service skills then he wouldnt argue and would just apologize. Two why would you start another job without finishing your first one?? I told him i have kids all over my yard trick or treating but he didnt care. So if they dont come by 7:30 pm (they left at 4 pm) i'm just gonna get a report from the cops because I'm not gonna have a kid fall in the three huge holes they left and get sued for their negligence. What a joke this company is. Never will use them again.

Called on a Friday evening after 5 pm. Needed a repair on a hot water shower handle that was seemed to be stripped. On phone , I agreed to $ 125 service even if I did not use service. I agreed, service man came, asked to initial $125. I did also to initial a $10 fuel fee. I did with some reservation ,since company was local. Then to fix it. The stem. It would be $285. Total $420 plus tax , If I have a check , they needed my license number. If I paid by credit card an additional 3 percent. Cash was good. Spoke with boss , it is their policy. I wrote a check for $146.64. Taxed. Did not use their service ... I went to a plumbing supply house , for $14.00. . I bought and replaced the shower handle. Their reasoning for the high price was the weekend and he would have to spend time finding the parts since they were not on the truck. I learned an expensive lesson. Mangano will not be called for any services.

This is an update on a review I wrote a couple years ago when I needed a toilet repair. I was completely ripped off. They put in a new toilet of their own and charged over $1000. Always having problems with that one from the first day of not flushing properly. I didn't know prices of toilets and I find out that is was an $89 toilet. They refused to show me a receipt for it.
Within the two years I had it, it was repaired over 3 times, all new inside had to be replaced.
A month ago, it stopped working completely, it was junk and had to be replaced.

The owner Jon was very knowledgeable and respectful. The men that was sent to my house knew exactly what was wrong and made me feel comfortable that they can fix the problem. The men were respectful, clean and on time which is rare. I will recommend this company to anyone that has plumbing issues for sure.

Called the company to unclog the pipe and they came and gave us option to snake, pump cess pool, or to reroute the pipe. I called them back to snake the drain pipe and the service guy that came was not able to get past the trap or bend of the pipe because the snake he used was too big for the pipe. He also said the cesspool is not full so nothing he can do. The owner then calls me and tells me we have to pay $175 even though he confirmed that he was not able to get the snake through. He then presumed to make up stories saying that our pipe is broken inside and that they can't get through so we still have to pay. If he wasnt able to get through, how does he know it's broken inside? Maybe he's physic? I think not. I refused to pay and he threatened to get an attorney, put a lean on my house and to call the police. Needless to say very dishonest and unprofessional. Hope this reviews help others to not get scammed.

Again. Apparently they didn't do the job right the first one and they offered nothing in the way of help. Don't use this company ever!

So this almost 2 yr old BRAND NEW toilet stopped working AGAIN.
All the tank inside's had to be replaced. I have toilets over 20 years old and have never had a problem. The toilet Mangano put in was from them.

Great company. They were a pleasure to deal with. Had them come to my house to repair some leaking pipes that we've been dealing with for a while. The office staff was nice and very accommodating. The plumbers who came did a neat, clean job and explained everything thoroughly. We would definitely use them again.

I would give them zero stars if I could. STAY THE F away. Pure nickel and dime shop that will hit you for everything. My cesspool and septic tank backed up. For them to come out they bang you a fee if you don't use their service. When they came , they sent someone without the cleaning truck. They send a guy where they evaluate and add on other items. You think you can get a cleaning for $395 but not true. They said my septic was not in code and required a manhole cover. I get it and since I was so desperate I said do it but had to wait till Monday. If I didn't use their service i would have to pay for inspection of $150. So instead of b omg out of pocket I paid $575 for putting a manhole cover and $400 for draining the septic tank. When they got there, go figure my main line needed to be cleaned. Another $225. You feel like they got you by the balls and can't say no. The to inspect the overflow they charge you by the hour and said it could take a while. Obviously, I didn't pay for that and called around 3 other cesspool companies. After speaking to the companies, they all would have cleaned my tank and the code is not enforceable and I shouldn't have paid the $575 for the manhole. Even if they did the manhole, they would have put the bricks back on my walkway and would have cut the stone to make it nice. Now I have to pay my landscaper to do this. Don't ever use this company. They will bang you for each. I wished I looked at yelp before this but I was frantic and they took advantage of you when you're in need. Every review is one star and similar experience. It has to be them. They will try and justify but ignore them and listen to the consumers who were taken.

I called Mangano for what appeared to be a cesspool issue. A nice woman on the phone confirmed that it sounded like my pool needed to be pumped out. Quote of about $400 over the phone. Sounds good! The technician arrives on time, nice enough guy, no complaints. He quickly finds the ""Septic"" tank and says it needs to be cleared. I asked about the cesspool. He says he could not find it and it will take some time to locate and he will charge a digging fee per foot once he finds it. He says clearing the Septic will not guarantee me any solution, but it needs to be done either way. He said see, if it works you may not need the pool pumped. Bottom line, I trust people and listen to their advice. I'm not a plumber and and don't know squat about cesspools. $430 and 10 days later the toilet is backing up again. I was given bad advice and paid full price for 15 minute quick pump of my Septic.
Bottom line. The technician should have found the cesspool and pumped it out and I would be done!!!
I called Local Cesspool Inc (Huntington NY area). Great guy John came in one day, FOUND THE CESSPOOL IN 5 MINUTES!!!! Pumped it clean for $450. Done!!!! Was that so hard NO! Good company, good guy. I will post his review after this incompetent rip-off experience.
This was my experience with Mangano. Simply put, I would avoid!
