We called Malama with an emergency plumbing issue, an overflowing toilet. They called back immediately and came with a couple hours. They fixed the problem and we were glad they came so promptly, so we asked them for a quote for a new water heater. They gave us one and told us to call them after we bought the water heater, which we did. Then we called and called and texted and called again and again. They totally ghosted us. We were left trying to find a last minute plumber to install the heater as we were leaving town in 3 days. We never heard from them again. Oh and when they fixed our plumbing issue, they had to borrow a ladder and an extension cord from us. Maybe they aren't quite prepared for doing all plumbing repairs? I'm giving 2 stars. I would've given five after the first experience and zero after the second. It was totally uncool to leave us hanging with the water heater replacement. At least have the cajones to tell us you can't do it.
