This past Saturday night our shower backed up while we had guests staying and we needed our sewages pipes unblocked, immediately. Kaleo and his son rushed over and worked so hard to save us from a terrible and disgusting situation. It was complicated and they diagnosed and solved the problem quickly. They are great guys and communication with them is excellent, they taught me a lot about plumbing! They do high quality work that you you don't usually see and their prices are extremely fair. We are so fortunate to have found them, they totally saved us, and I wholeheartedly recommend them for all you plumbing needs!

Kaleo to the rescue! Repeat customer, second time he came to get me out of bad situation. Night before, raw sewage was coming up and out of the shower drain like a horror movie. Family had to go Safeway to use their toilet. I left message with Kaleo, and first thing in the morning he was able to come by, and snake out the drain monster. They called, gave a time window when they would come out. Did not show, did not call. Attempts to call them were unsuccessful. No response. Would not recommend.

Recently had a plumbing emergency and contacted Kaleo at Malama at 6:30 p.m. when a couple other companies couldn't send anyone until the next day. He arrived within the hour as promised. They were so professional and kind. They quickly accessed my issue, and went above and beyond and stayed well into the late hours of the evening to clear my line even when it proved to be extremely challenging. Knowledgeable, hardworking, and more than fair/reasonable rates. I highly recommend Malama Drains, and will definitely call them next time I need any kind of plumbing services!

Lifesaver!! Kaleo immediately responded to my text at 10pm. Of course, toilet overflows on a week night. We contemplated waiting until morning, but how do we get ready for school and work without being able to use the bathrooms?!! He was over shortly and got our pipes cleaned out. Our shower drain was draining extremely slow (albeit due to a kids toy that went down the shower drain) and unfortunately, completely stopped working at the most inopportune time. I yelped for an emergency plumber and came across this listing. We called and Kaleo said he would be able to come out within the hour...on a Sunday night, last minute? AWESOME! He made it to our place as promised, but unfortunately due to an accident on our road, he had to park a couple of lanes away and walk in with his equipment. He came with his son and both tackled the drain issue and were able to clear the blockage after about an hour or so. We are so thankful for Kaleo and his son - awesome service, professional and friendly. They not only came out after-hours in an emergency type situation, but they walked a couple of lanes in with equipment and with no complaints. Beyond the business, it's admirable to see a father and son working together, teaching, training, and coaching. They were fast, efficient, and determined to get our drain fixed. Their pricing was standard for emergency/after-hours, but we gave a little more because they were worth it. We will definitely be calling them back for any plumbing/drain situation. My drain was backing up from my downstairs shower. Kaleo was able to fix the problem in less than 2 hours. Which included removing a toilet and pulling out roots from the drain. He was very reasonable and friendly. He was very trustworthy and I would refer him to other family members and friends. That night that I called Kaleo, he was going to come out at 11pm. I told him it could wait to the next day. He was very prompt.
