Gary, his guys, and Shannon have gotten everything finished at my house. It is looking lovely and I am very happy to get things done.
Wish I didn't have to write a bad review to get his attention. Now that everything is done I am happy and am taking this as a learning experience.

Used Gary and his guys to put in a laminate floor, did a good job. Had them replace a fan/ heater, the end result
Was good. Had him do renovations on my home and I am unhappy with end result. The bathroom remodel is beautiful to look at but I had to have the toilet pulled and
Resealed because toilet was loose and not caulked properly. Had a seat put in the shower and the underside is exposed wood, in the shower. Opened up doorways because my husband is disabled left gaps at the bottom of wood. Toe kick in the kitchen was never finished, you could see the shims and a gap. The faucet had to be re- tightened and when the guy came out and did that he asked us why the board in the back was not secured.
Put a metal security door , front door and it sticks when you open it up. Told Gary about the door and the seat in the shower said he would fix but would not come out for just those items unless we scheduled the paying items first. Put in counters and he did not seal them. Originally
Gary said after installing he would need to seal them but when the job was done he said they came sealed. I spoke with Granite Expo and they do not seal them. So now my counters have not been sealed. My block of counter behind stove is wobbling and the seams on the sides are very noticeable and you can see the glue. There were jobs that I put a hold on because I became unhappy with the whole situation, I believe that this was too big of a job for them. Gary is nice but frustrating with all of this happening. Guys are nice but their work was not being thoroughly checked. Still have a few other items but called someone else to do the work.

Was there a record for Ceres? I received an appt confirmation by text which states Gary Wilson to come on 7/30 between 10:30 -12:00. Appt was received from Paul D. So don't give me some BS that this is not on your records.

Don't even waste time with these guys. As you can see from reviews below these guys are not reliable. They ask you to wait around mid day on the weekend only to no show, not give a call or not even a courtesy text. Very unprofessional. They make it seem like they are in how they speak to you and even giving you text confirmation of appointments to which they don't show up to. It's 2022 they have ability to at least shoot a text. Don't fall for the smoke and mirror show when you call to request a quote/work. I should've looked at the reviews prior to setting something up with these guys as they proved to be rather helpful now. Would've loved to give 0 stars.

Excellent work Gary! Gary and his crew came in to complete what needed to be done within a matter of three days...JUST. THREE.DAYS!!! We had previously received an estimate for some work from a company that quoted a higher AND we were going to have to wait another 4-6 weeks (After 2 1/2 months the of having our wall exposed from a pipe that burst in our bedroom) or longer to have the company come out to complete the work that needed to be done. We wanted to get back to life as usual sooner so my husband did some research and found Straitline Home repair. Gary and his crew were very professional, commutative, hard working and true to their word! He has built his company on a culture of honesty and transparency, which every company should do! He promised they'd be done in 3 days and they didn't stop until they got the job done (AND it didn't take all day). One thing that I noticed is that while the workers worked they always kept the areas clean. What I mean is that when they left for the day, they left the area where they worked neat and tidy. The laminate flooring was stacked in the corner, there was no debris left on the floor because they swept up the room before they left. You can tell that Gary takes pride in his company and the work that he has trained his employees to do. He prides' himself on excellent service and he pays attention to details (which I love because I'm detail oriented) For instance, when they did the touch up painting, Gary noticed that the wall color wasn't seamless with the ceiling so he had the guys paint the ceiling also at no extra cost! I will recommend him to my family and friends. We look forward to working with you more in the future!

If you want reliable, competent workers to do good quality professional work while providing excellent customer service, good communication and complete work in a timely manner....my suggestion is to look else where. I utilized Gary and Straitline Home repair and not only did he not complete the job, he delayed the process, cause additional problems and refused to call back to complete the job. The work that was completed is poor quality. It's falling apart and has to be redone. So I have to pay for the same job twice! What I learned from hiring Straitline Home Repair is that you can't teach integrity. Adult business owners either have integrity or not. Gary Wilson and Straitline Home repair lacks professional integrity.

I was trying not to leave this review but Yelp just sent me a notification to review this business so here we go, Poor communication as well as poor workmanship, gave us the run around for weeks on end than left without completing the work. The damage that was done to our deck is beyond repair and most likely will need to be re-decked. I can go on and on but I'm will just stop at this. I'm hoping that these guys get there stuff together

So.... I had originally given this company an one star review because of a misunderstanding regarding how to contact me and removed it upon learning there was a mistype in the given information and then gave them five stars in advance because l appreciated how they responded and set up an appointment to have someone come out and give me an estimate on some work.

The gentleman who came out who l suspect was the owner of the company was on time, very knowledgeable and courteous and thorough in his explaining things. This was on a Monday and I'm writing this review on Thursday night. I was told I'd receive an estimate Monday night. Well, l never did. Now whether it was because he really didn't want to do the job, or because he thought l couldn't afford it, or because he thought l wasn't serious about having the work done l can't say. Only he knows the reason. I've since moved on in another direction to get the work done. I do appreciate the fact that he came out however.

As a person who works in the trades (HVAC) I find Gary and straightline home repair to be impressively irresponsible and inconsiderate of other people's time. It is extremely poor work ethic to schedule/reschedule an appointment for a walk through 4 times and miss all 4 appointments. And to not once give a heads up in advance but only after the ""arrival time frame"" is already here. I can't in good faith move forward with any business dealing with you guys and will recommend others not as well. If Gary cannot make a simple walk through for an estimate, how could I trust him to make it when the job begins, or to return to complete it after it has begun. I'm in awe of the incompetence and poor customer service.
