I am so glad that after researching several companies and asking around, I decided to call Scott from Main Man. Our main water pipe broke and water was leaking from the walls into the basement. It got worse and fast. Luckily we redirected the flood of water coming in towards the sewer basin or else we would be flooding. Stressing out, the whole family was digging dirt from the crawl space and moping the basement floor. It was labor intensive and a highly stressful time for us.

I called Scott on Sunday. Send him pictures and videos over the phone. He came Monday, and he came earlier to assess the situation and gave me a quote. He really is a nice and supportive business owner towards his customers. He was professional and always texted me when his crew was coming and what's the next step. He took care of all the permit and advised us from day one. I am very grateful.

The crew was wonderful. Everday, six of them came. They were punctual, clean, and worked so hard. Special shoutout to David and Juan (professional, attentive, and courteous).They showed me I can trust them and the integrity of their work. They were meticulous of the repair and of other resident's property. When they leave, the worksite is neat and guarded until they return next day. They even helped me push my car parked in front of my house into the driveway when the battery died so they can dig in that spot. Day one, they found the broken lead pipe and stopped the water from coming into my basement. There were a lot of tree roots underneath the property/foundation. Day two, they took the lead pipe and installed copper pipes and fixed everything. Day three, they finished the road and sidewalk. They were also kind enough to pour cement over the hole we made on the porch. Not only do they get the job done, they go beyond to help you as much as they can. They were diligent and professional. Adam, Adam, Adam, THANK YOU!!! We got one of those mean 3day notices from the DEP and did not know what to do. They were able to match a lower price we received from another company and get to work so fast. We just had our street done within the year and the water line was across the street. He explained everything in detail and the how's and why to everything. Very transparent and honest, and we would do business with them again (hopefully we wont have too, but Incase we do have too). My problem was low pressure in my entire house. 5 minutes into my conversation with Scott, I immediately knew I was going to give him the job. I'm an engineer and very methodical and did my legwork and spoke to 5 or 6 other contractors asking every question you could image before I spoke to Main main. Each contractor give me a piece of the explanation with no clear plan or explanation that I and was looking for. Scott gave met the entire outline and painted my scenarios while being extremely detailed. I could tell he was very very experienced - no bull.

Scott came in with a professional and courteous team. They made sure they covered all the bases from making sure the street was free where they needed to dig to cleaning up and sealing the street extremely professionally. My water pressure was so strong afterwards that I've never had such good pressure for 25 years! They made sure they carefully worked and walked in my basement as it was a finished basement. What I thought was going to be a painful job, turned out to be so seamless and painless. My issue was a dirty city tap. Main man cleaned it out with a special threading tool and tested the pressure several times afterwards before reconnection. They made sure to show me the difference of the pressure before and after. Scott is a pleasure to contract out.

We received a 3-day notice from DEP on a Sunday. I contacted Main Man immediately on Monday morning and spoke directly with the owner, Scott. He was extremely responsive and provided an estimate right away. His estimate was reasonable and competitive. He was on the job by Wednesday and even saved us money by honestly advising us that our line was fine and it was just a faulty connection which was causing the leak. Scott was also very fair with payment terms -- he required a lower deposit than other companies and didn't require final payment until the street was repaired. Other companies require large deposits before even showing up and demand final payment when just the plumbing work is done -- that's unsettling for a property owner who wants to make sure the street is sealed to obtain NYC sign off. I would recommend Scott to all. Great work! (I even offered Scott a discount on furniture for his home since he was such a stand up guy). I called Main Man Water Works & Sewer Service Plumbing to help with a garbage transfer. I called the proprietor at around 9am, and he said he could come at 11-11:30 that day. He really came sooner than guaranteed (this never appears to happen...). He was a delight to work with and exceptionally proficient. Since it was the first run through in our building, he was expected to demonstrate permit/protection data to the administration office. Ordinarily this is the place different temporary workers have become exceptionally irritated with the procedure and have created issues for us before (getting forceful with Management, nearly getting kicked out, and so on). But not Main Man Water Works & Sewer Service for sure. He was quiet and well mannered, and gave them all that they required. Concerning the real issue, he was clear with valuing and rushed to start the repair. He appeared to know precisely what he was doing, and inside around 40 minutes, everything was backing to typical. At the same time, he finished the work with a cordial aura. Costs appeared to be extremely sensible for the territory, and in the event that we keep running into some other issues, I wouldn't waver to get back to him.

I had a water main break and need it fixed ASAP. I reached out to Scott of Main Man Plumbing and it was the best decision. Out of the other plumbers I called he was in my opinion the most responsive and customer service oriented. He answered any concerns and had no hidden costs and did the job at a reasonable fee. Furthermore, he wanted to make sure the job was done right. Overall he and his team did a great job and took care of everything in one day whereas other plumbers said it would take 2. I'd totally call Main man agian if I ever run into any plumbing issues in the future

We had a water main break at our coop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The situation was dire and required prompt attention. If we were to wait long the pipe would burst and we would have a disaster on our hands. Several plumbing contractors gave us their estimates. Scott from Main Man gave us a competitive price AND promised to do the job on Sunday, earlier than the other contractors. Since time was of the essence we gave the job to MAIN MAN. They arrived that Sunday on time, did a great job, and finished ahead of schedule. I was impressed by the crew's professionalism and good manners. They left the place cleaner than they found it. We had a water main leak and the DEP gave me a notice to have it fixed in three days. I kind of freaked out and started calling a bunch of companies but only got ""somebody will get back to you ASAP"" or the guys who did show up made me feel like they were trying to get one over on me. When I called Main Man Scott picked up right away and was able to give me a lot of information over the phone. I was impressed with how knowledgeable and on top of things he was especially compared to the others. The pricing wasn't that far off from what some of the others were quoting but after coming to give the estimate he made me feel comfortable that everything would be taken care of properly.They showed up first thing the next morning and everything was finished by the time I got back from work. They also seemed to make the extra effort to clean up afterwards. Hopefully this problem doesn't come up again but if it does I know who the first person I will call will be. Thanks, Main Man!!
