We have a tankless Noritz water heater and for whatever reason the heating mechanism went out. We did some research online & read the manual with no avail. We called Noritz to try & find a local servicer, which we found; however, after only speaking with the tech over the phone he already quoted that it would cost $450. We were dissatisfied as you can imagine. Then we called Magna Plumbing, who were very knowledgeable & informative about the water heater. After a couple of troubleshooting suggestions made by one of the reps, my husband was able to fix the problem! We are so thankful for the helpful service of Magna Plumbing & hope you think of them first the next time you need help in any plumbing situation.

I was searching for a company that was well informed about tankless water heaters. I spoke with Mark on the phone who had great knowledge on these type of heaters. Mark recommended the Noritz unit and quoted me with a price that included all of the install plus the unit. I love the install they provided because I can tell it was not going to be a basic one. There was absolutely no upselling or hidden charges. They also reinstalled my washer and dryer and a very small cost. We highly recommend this company and are very satisfied with the service and unit that was installed. Bill

I used Magna plumbing today as a referral through my home warranty company. They seemed fine to me. It was an urgent job that needed to be completed today since the water to the house had to be turned off due to a leak. The guy showed up within a few hours, as I was told he would. The job was completed to my satisfaction and the price I was charged was the price I was quoted. Mine was not a big job, but it worked out OK. Maybe I was lucky, but I wouldn't have a problem using them again

I didn't give them a chance. As soon as the guy got here he was up selling me. Then when I told him to leave he tried to collect $39.00 for the service call. I was not in the mood for this I warned the owner I was skeptical because of the reviews I saw he assured me that they were not accurate.

Never Use! Horrible Customer Service. Terrible attitudes. Left a Huge Mess, broke aerator on downstairs bathroom and when I asked them to clean up and fix the aerator they told me....""You Fix it and You Clean It Up....We have a 3:30 apt in Lake Forest. You hired us to fix your tankless waterheater"" Eduardo and Juan were the service guys. After I pressed, they fixed the faucet cussing and swearing the whole time. As they were driving off, I noticed they did not clean up. I ran towards their van and asked them again to come and clean up. Eduardo was driving, he stopped the van and gave me a threatening stare and he undid his seat belt. I invited him to get out and come clean up. he stared again and drove off. I called his boss Mark and Mark's position was that they had to wait 50 minutes to get paid. BS. The delay was due to Juan breaking the faucet and not wanting to repair. we made arrangements for them with the landlord who was trying to call them but due to Eduardos heavy accent, no one could understand the phone number he gave. Mark could not understand him when Eduardo was trying to tell him the landlord's name...Vince. I will never recommend these guys! If I could give them a negative ZERO rating I would! Do your research...several other very high rated plumbers in the area.

Wow, so after all of this, the hot water does not work! So , Stan, the owner, comes out the next day and is just as arrogant. After trying to give the guy some feedback on his workers, his position was basically that it didn't happen. WOW! REALLY DON'T USE!

I Had a slab leek from a hot water line under the foundation in my master bedroom. I thought something was up when my water and gas bill sky rocketed. Juan was great. He found the leak fast and was back first thing in the morning to fix the problem like it had never happened. Awesome and fast service.

So shocked to read the other two reviews about this company. I just had Magna out to clear a mainline stoppage, and had quite the opposite experience. The technician (Stan) arrived 5 minutes before my scheduled time, was professional and polite, and cleared the stoppage. What he charged seemed reasonable compared to some other companies I had gotten quotes from, and I will happily give their info to my neighbors and friends.

Magna plumbing was here last week for a clogged upstairs toilet with water coming out of the base. Their plumber tried to unclog the toilet with a snake and could not do it. He said to call roto-rooter and tell them it was a main drain problem (even though the downstairs toilets were working). For this he charged me $39. and said ""Have a nice day.""
I called Chris at Hava-Rooter and he came to my house with a longer snake and cleared the drain. He told me at the outset that if he couldn't fix it he wouldn't charge me. He is my new plumber - Magna does not know what they are doing.

BEWARE: AVOID MAGNA AT ALL COSTS!!!

This company and their employees are worthless and I've been lied to and cheated by them multiple times. They've damaged my property without any compensation, have been a nightmare to deal with and you should avoid them like the plague!
