I purchased a $2,000 water heater from them 5 years ago and it is a real lemon. I recently had to get the flame assembly replaced and they came 2 times with a defective one and the third one was ok. They charged me almost $400 for labor. clearly a rip off and the tech gave me stupid excuses for the ridiculous charge! I used to be pleased with their service but never again. I wrote the owners a complaint letter and never received the courtesy of a response. Now they have lost me as a customer and hopefully more.

This place charges a $75 trip charge to come out whether or not they are able to do the work. I was never told this when I set up the appointment. The plumber told me that it is the customer's responsibility to somehow know their policies even if they don't inform the customer up front. Go figure. This is a very unreputable, unethical business who is not honest with their customers. They deliberately lie and cheat. Do not do business with them. STAY AWAY!!!!!

We bought a house and moved to Valparaiso, IN in July of 2021 not knowing anyone, including businesses. Our house required a lot of repairs. Out of all of the plumbing and HVAC companies that I had come through my home Maglish was always #1. Incredibly responsive, professional, knowledgeable, caring and friendly. Our home needed repairs/upgrades from the current mechanics from lack of maintenance from the previous owners. We needed a new furnace, AC, dual sump pumps, water heater, outdoor spigots and major pipes replaced for proper venting and plumbing. Maglish was all over it. Everything went as planned and their teams were just amazing. Their communication with my wife and I was exemplary. Never, have I worked with such a well organized and knowledgeable plumbing and HVAC team. They do not cut corners and do the job right the first time. I 100% trust Maglish after this install and highly recommend to everyone. For all that we had done I was actually surprised with the cost. It was much less then I expected and other companies that I had give me a quote were $10,000 or higher and offered much less in quality. Maglish WILL take care of you and do the job they promise. Their team is so great from start to finish and once the job is done you will feel so happy and relieved. They are just awesome. Maglish cares.

$$$ Beware! The toilet was leaking slightly from the main floor to the bathroom below. We knew that it was the seal, because it had happened in our other bathroom and I told the two very young ""plumbers"" before they even started what the problem was. It was a total of 15 minutes work as I watched... they looked downstairs, then pulled the toilet, breaking the ceramic tile behind the toilet and replaced the seal, charging us over $275! When I called the manager disgusted that it cost that much, his cocky reply was ""I could have charged you more!"" They'll never get a chance, I would never use Maglish again!

I was charged SIX TIMES the cost of a part for my AC unit. Now you know why they can afford a flat $75 service call.

Upon asking why, I never got an explanation or even the courtesy of a phone call back.

A twenty minute job that I could've done myself cost me nearly $500.

I had them come out to look at a bunch of work. It looked tricky to them. They called to see something additional to formulate their plan, and asked if I'd be home that afternoon. I waited and waited and waited. They never showed. They never called after that either. They just ghosted me. Called other companies and got the work done. They didn't complain about how tricky it was either.

Edited to add that the service man was very nice and did call to apologize for missing our appointment and not getting a quote back to me. Apparently they've been pretty busy. We did end up hiring out the work to other service professionals so I'm unable to review the quality of work by Maglish.

As an architect, I can sincerely state that my experience with this company has been horrible. They charged me $625 for 2 people X 2 hours of work including a $75 Travel Fee. And on top of that, the work was marginal at best!. Look Elsewhere!

Wonderful company! Last year we hurried up and had new home heating and cooling system installed just as the pandemic was hitting. The installation was quick and painless. In fact, the workmen finished about two hours early without cutting any corners. Very professional! The representative, Tom, was very personable and came out to check the finished job. I believe we may have even gotten an upgrade on the equipment. The two systems have work perfectly. The two maintenance visits were perfect as well. The workman, Tim, arrived on time, took his time to do his job well, and was very polite without being intrusive or falsely friendly. We chose Maglish because a colleague from work recommended them. And sure enough, the best recommendations come from friends. We look forward to Maglish servicing our new systems for decade to come. We will look to them to do other work as well.

Horrible company to deal with. Months of chasing and no responses and then anger from a rep that there are negative reviews popping up. So here is the deal: they care less about a customer than a negative review and instead of trying to fix they basically tell you they will come back to you when they feel like it. For me these guys were the absolute worst to deal with. 0 follow up or customer service, i don't even understand why they came by twice and wasted my time over the last few months. They could have actually done the work and collected a fee in that time I would have thought. Just warning others as my experience is 0 stars and they really don't give a crap about a potential customer that they have strung along for months. Bad bad business.
