I'm a General Contractor. Finding an honest and affordable rooter guy is key when I have a sewer problem. Yesterday, I found a difficult main sewer clog on a client's job in Eagle Rock. I contacted Manny (independent rooter), he came out, did an inspection, marked the sewer line locations gave me some insight in what needed to be done. Based upon his knowledge, we installed a new clean out at the position he indicated. The next day, Manny came cleared the clog investigated the downstream terminus. He's a truly honest rooter guys in the area. It was a pleasure working with him!!
If you have a rooter issue, hire him and trust his expertise.

After looking for a plumber on Yelp noticed that Magic Rooter was one of the only companies that had LEGIT reviews. I called and made an appointment with Manny... Wow I was impressed. He was professional, clean and knew what to do. (As I had another plumber that said the leak would continue unless I changed all piping which would cost too much... LIES)
Anyhow, Manny even wore shoe covers to enter my house. He completed all work with a fair price and timely manner. No bs... I would definitely recommend Manny especially if ur in highland park. I will be keeping him in my phone book. Real review no fake stuff over here.

First of all Manny was awesome at communication. He got right back to me, scheduled an appointment, and showed up on time. He even texted a few minutes beforehand to say he was on his way. These are small things that I've really come to appreciate in a contractor. I know that plumbers, electricians, and people with valuable skills are in high demand these days, so I'm somewhat accustomed to being stood up, or cancelled on when a bigger better gig comes up. So when someone skillful and communicative like Manny shows up I don't take it for granted. My job was simple, just a little bit of preventative maintenance on my cleanout. He did the job quickly and at a great price, then we chatted about muscle cars and driver safety. Haha. Total pleasure.

Manny and his team came to help me install new drains. I was very happy with the results since I've been having drain issues for years but didn't know they were drain issues until Manny came out to see what was wrong. I thought it was just a minor plug up but it turned out the previous people that did the drains didn't do them correctly so it caused back up in the kitchen line and one of the bathroom lines. He and his team are very hard working and made sure everything was done right. Even a leak in my bathtub was fixed as he was working on the drains, and he didn't charge me for that part as a courtesy to the work I was already paying him for.

Manny is great! I discovered that my main line from my clean out to my septic was clogged and backing up around 4 PM a few days ago. I called another rooter service who said they would come out later that night. About 4 hours later they called to cancel saying that my job required a two-man crew. I called Manny around 7 PM and he picked up and said he would come out first thing the next morning. As promised, he came out the next morning and cleared the blockage for less than half what the other company quoted. I highly recommend Manny and will call him anytime I have rooter/plumbing issues.
