As you know, it's tough to find an honest and reliable plumber with reasonable pricing. It's like looking for a good dentist. Anyway, I'm glad I found Magic Rooter here on Yelp! The owner, Manny, is a real pro from start to finish. Excellent personality as well. He responds to text messages fast, arrives on time, wears shoe coverings before entering, protects/covers the work area properly and cleans everything before leaving (including discarding the old parts, boxes, etc.). I already saved his contact info on my phone because he's my go-to plumber from now on. Also, Manny is great because he can give a quote or estimate based on photos/description only (unlike most plumbers who want to go to your house first before giving any estimate). Finally, I appreciate the tips he gave me on how to clear my pipes safely and how to remove glue residue on my sink.

I've hired Manny twice, and I recommend him without reservation. He is timely, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I approved his initial estimate of $150 to fix a sink drain. On his own volition, he only charged me $100. I wouldn't hire anyone else for plumbing work.

Had a previous issue with another company around some plumbing issues that went unresolved.
The concern was high as the problem needed to be taken care of as soon as possible. Manny and I had some brief conversations via text , I sent over pictures he understood the problem.
He came to do the job within 49 hours. He showed up and was professional, kind and honest .
He resolved my issue and also let me know of another issue that could be problematic so I asked him to fix that too.
All in all I give him 500000 stars and would recommend him for any plumbing needs.

Manny was able to respond to me early in the morning to set up a time to arrive to clean out a sewer clog. He arrived on time and punched through the clogged line to get the drain to clear. He was able to go both ways down the line and after flushing it out, he sent a camera up and down the lines to show me where the tree roots had gotten into my clay sewer line. I had never seen the inside of my pipes so that was cool and informative. All for a nice price. A company that I almost had come out late at night wanted $450 to do just the drain clearing after quoting $99 on the phone, but I'm glad I could wait until morning to have Manny do it for a small fraction of the cost. Manny was really nice, informative, and on time so I am very happy he could step in when my usual rooter was not available.
