Excellent work and Amazing service!! Had a new HVAC system put in last week and couldn't be happier. Our old system was working fine, but we wanted to be proactive and get it replaced before it breaks. Did lots of research and can truly say that we picked the right company to do the job .

Quote/ Contract - Steve was always available to answer any of our questions.

Installation - Nate and Ed were very professional, meticulous, courteous, knowledgeable and informative. Gave us the rundown on what to expect each day, kept everything clean and delivered a flawless system as promised.

Inspection 1 - we needed this done asap so Shannon coordinated with the sub contractor and got us scheduled right away.

We've done lots of house projects and this was one of the smoothest process ever.

I am completely satisfied with the work done in my home by Mac's Plumbing, Heating & Air, from initial consultation and cost proposal with business owner, Steve; install coordinator and communications expert, Shannon; to the installer himself, Alvaro (AJ), who did an absolutely professional job replacing two toilets and one water heater, bringing the latter fully up to city code and passing city inspection with flying colors. Before he left, Steve assured me that Mac's Plumbing would take good care of me. And, they did! I was especially impressed with the diligent work by Alvaro who never failed to greet me with a cheerful smile and to remain positive and cheerful throughout a grueling day of single-handed removal, installation, testing for leaks, and thorough cleanup. Alvaro left my home in excellent condition, clean, modern, up-to-date, and leak free. I would not hesitate to call again or to highly recommend Mac's Plumbing, Heating & Air to others searching for honesty, integrity, professionalism, and trustworthiness. I am so grateful for Mac's Plumbing. Steve came to give me quote on replacing heating ducts and waterline underneath my house. He was very nice & down to earth. He sent Nate and Ed to complete the task that took about 10 days. They were great! Very focused, professional, polite, people oriented, very organized and very detailed and informative on a daily bases where they were & what to expect the following day. They also had other helpers the last day or so to guarantee the quoted timeframe promised. I ended up switching from Bell Bros yearly maintenance program because of Nate and Ed to Mac's maintenance program. I felt confident in them everyday that things would get done and done Right! They completed the project today and I am very pleased with all their work. They were amazing! I would recommend them to anyone based on what they have done for me. Don't have pics to show yet.

Right from the start I felt like I was being taken care of by family! Steve came out we discussed my end goal and he made it happen with a great quote. Nate & Ed we're prompt, professional they kept me in the loop on everything that was going on. If it wasn't for the original work they were doing I would not have found out my foundation was being compromised by all the water. Again felt like family! Mac's Plumbing was a life saver! I lost hot water when I was expecting 15 guests for a Christmas gathering. Steve, the owner came out to inspect my hot water heater, for free. Steve gave me three different options and the next morning he had two technicians out to replace my water heater!

Garrett and Eli were wonderful! They had to do so much work and re-wiring! I was amazed at all they did. I was told it would take all day, probably 3:00 pm, and they were done by about 1:00!! YAY! Hot water in time for my first quests at 5:00 that afternoon!

I recently had a water heater replaced. Interestingly the quote I got from another company was $3000 for a 50-gallon gas water heater including installation. I thought this was a little high and elected to get another quote from a local (Elk Grove) company. Steve the owner came out and provided a much more reasonable quote for the same (Bradford White) 50-gallon water heater of $2397. By the way, Steve was very friendly and also provided helpful information regarding an issue I was having with my dishwasher. I also enjoyed talking to the installer AJ, he was also very friendly and provided answers to any questions I had. After the (Clean) install, AJ also took a look at our dishwasher and proceeded to do what he could to fix my problem with the dishwasher. By the way, this was free of charge! I would definitely recommend Mac's plumbing for future needs and will refer them to friends and family. We actually recommended AJ to my wife's mother for her water heater replacement. Especially since AJ speaks spanish! Thanks Mac's for a job well done!

Like others saw SMUD rebate and ran through authorized contractors to move from gas water heater (16 year old) to hybrid electric (heat pump). Saw some usual names (Bonney Plumbing, etc) and came across Mac's Plumbing. Saw they were local and reached out to get a quote. Steve arrived on-time and comes across as a very down to earth straight shooter which I very much appreciate. He got a quote put together and we got the ball rolling on the install of Bradford White unit. Blew me away they could get it installed the beginning of the following week.

Nate & Ed arrived for install and were very friendly & cordial. Did a great job pulling out the old and putting in the new (new electrical, new piping for condensate, etc). Did a great job with cleanup (patching up dry wall, cleaning area, etc).

Honest, friendly and quality work.

I incidentally found out my water heater, which was originally installed in the 90s, was completely rusted on the inside. I did some research and found that MAC's was a local carrier of Bradford White water heaters, which are American made and high quality. I called for an estimate/eval appointment and Steve came out the next week. He is personable and friendly and gave me an easy to understand estimate and his honest recommendations. As a single female homeowner, I felt very comfortable and never felt as if he was trying to upsell me (which other contractors and businesses have done in the past).

He gave me several options and even told me about the SMUD rebates ide be eligible for. I opted to convert from gas to an electric hybrid for it's efficiency, cost, the fact that it will cool the garage a bit, no pilot light and the smud incentive rebate.

On the installation date Ed and another technician (who's name I cannot remember, I'm so sorry) arrived promptly at 8am as scheduled. They were equally friendly and personable. We talked about some of our outdoor house projects and they got right to work.

We had painted the garage and asked that they let us know when the old water heater was removed so we could paint behind it and without asking they did it for us! I even, without thinking turned the water on while they were working and got water everywhere, they just politely reminded me not to use the water and helped me clean up a bit.

When they went up to the attic to do electrical, right away they noticed the HVAC system had some issues. I know nothing about HVAC, but remember him showing me the photos and basically the coils are rusted, there's coolant leaking, it's falling apart and we are breathing in particles of fiber glass. The week prior I was just thinking the HVAC was probably 20-30 years old and needed replacing. I called the office to make an appointment for an HVAC Assessment and got one for the next week, but our technician called Steve and sent him the photos. On the phone the three of us were able to decide on a new system and establish an install date ASAP due to the condition and their very packed schedule coming up this summer. Of course they told me all about the smud incentive rebates so they were able to save me quite a bit of money changing from gas to electric hybrid. Smud offers a $3900 rebate.

I'm so thankful they noticed because with summer coming up, my HVAC could have failed at a very unfortunate time. Overall, I am so happy with the fast, quality, professional work they've done. And it's a bonus that they're local. I am a lifelong customer and cannot recommend them enough!

Our water heater ""died"" and Mac's sent Steven to give us an estimate. He discussed all options and allowed us to make an informed decision. He expedited our service, as well. No more heating water on the stove to wash dishes and take creative showers. Mac's has a customer for life.
