Steve from Mac's Plumbing quoted me a fairly reasonable price for a hot water leak underneath the slab floor. He was timely, courteous, and very thoughtful. He answered all my questions and provided me with full explanation to my satisfaction. Kristyn, customer service rep, did a great job in the scheduling and follow-up process displaying professionalism. Although Mac's Plumbing was my second choice, it was only due to a slight difference in price. However, I will certainly consider its services in the future and have no hesitation in recommending to friends.

I've used Mac's Plumbing twice and can't recommend them highly enough. Steve, the owner, was the one who came to look at my problem. In both cases, he easily could have told me that I needed parts and expensive repairs that weren't necessary and I never would have known the difference. He was honest enough to tell me that they were minor and quick repairs that only took a few minutes. Like many people, I seem to have bad luck with repair people not showing up, doing poor work, or telling me things that just don't seem right. Mac's Plumbing is reliable, responsive and above all, honest.

Having a unique pool problem, I called Mac's Plumbing to see if they could help us with installing PVC piping for our new salt generator. They arrived promptly and were professionally dressed. Steve and Jason were very friendly, and courteous; they put shoe covers on to make sure they do not mess up our floors and then immediately reviewed the issue that we were having. After great discussion regarding our problem, they offered valuable advice and shared how we could simply fix it ourselves by using a $25 dollar part. They were extremely patient, as we asked many questions and took the time to make sure we understood how to solve our pool problem. We will definitely call them again and will recommend Mac's Plumbing to all our family and friends.

We called out Mac's Plumbing after another plumber delayed his arrival time twice and then failed to show up at all. Mac's Plumbing was able to get us setup for service the following morning and showed up right on time.

They were uniformed, courteous, friendly, personable, and highly professional. They put shoe covers on to make sure they do not mess up our floors and then immediately reviewed the issue that I was having. We were then given an easy to read and understand estimate sheet with affordable and up front pricing. After we agreed to the estimate they quickly began their work. While resolving the one issue we were having they discovered a second issue in the same drain line that was most likely the cause of the first one. They were able to quickly and easily solve that issue as well and there was no additional charge. After they were done they completely cleaned up after themselves like they were never there.

This was the first time that I have required the services of a professional plumber in our home of 11 years and I have made sure to put their phone number in my contacts list as Mac's Plumbing is the type of company that I want to do business with. I will highly recommend them to neighbors, friends, family, or anyone if they are in need of a plumber. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I would use Mac's plumbing again - especially after a potential billing issue was diffused and resolved quickly by the pleasant customer service representative.

Overall, the quality of the work done was above par. Mac's estimate was a bit more than another local service, but Steve seemed more straightforward and knowledgable than the competitor, so I paid a little more than I could have for peace of mind.

Before Mac's Plumbing came out to fix the plumbing issue, a friend and I dug down 3 to 4 feet to find the issue. We located the problem and it would have been simple enough to reattach a pipe. However, I felt more comfortable paying a professional who would warranty the work.

I was quoted a price of $325, to which I agreed; I shook hands (no paperwork, but the measure of a man is his ability to keep his word) with Steve and he came out the next day to fix the issue.

The snafu, which was handled courteously by Mac's customer service, was that there was an additional service charge added on top of the estimated price on the invoice. That did not make sense to me because the estimate should naturally include any service charge and Steve had not mentioned it the day before when he quoted me the price for the job. Before I overreacted and became upset, I called the office. The customer service representative said it was a mistake and that the estimate should have included the service charge. Since I paid with a credit card, she assured me she would deduct the service charge from the total and charge me the agreed upon price of $325.

The quick response from customer service added a star to my rating, because that sort of business practice shows that Mac's would rather establish a customer for life rather than nickel and dime for extra hidden fees that are not mentioned until after all the work is done.

Next time I have an plumbing issue, I will use Mac's.
