Their technician, Mario, came out on Thanksgiving when I had called at least two dozen other electricians with no responses from all. I had lost all 220 power and FPL said it was an inside problem(they were wrong). Mario diagnosed the problem in seconds. He then very patiently gave me options on updating service, but not a hard sell. The bill was high but that is because the company assumed he fixed the problem instead of just diagnosing it. They very quickly refunded, within days, the difference. FPL had to come out the next day and fix what was an underground wiring problem. So, my experience was excellent with both Mario and the company. I hope Christmas goes better.

The worst experience of my life!!! Do not use them. What a nightmare from beginning to end. Did not finish the job. Didn't care that I was dissatisfied as they were paid in advance. Very disgusted!! They not deserve even 1 star

I had a very complicated situation with this company; however, Tavy was great in helping me resolve my conflict. The technicians are great! DJ and Evan were fantastic and very patient. Scott, Monday, and other young gentleman were also very courteous. I AM A LEGIT CUSTOMER AND VERY PLEASED. Yes, there was a issue BUT THE COMPANY MADE IT RIGHT! TAVI did a great job resolving my issues! THANK YOU!

The upselling right out of the gate, and continual upselling throughout the visit, was a bit much. Plus, there was some confusion regarding what it would cost to fix a tripped breaker (diagnostic $471), so we paid the $39 service call and that was it. Since we recently moved here, I was hoping to find an electrical company, as we had in South Florida, sadly MAC5 will not likely be it. I felt $200 to change out a $57 (retail) breaker and 30 mins. work would be fair. . . apparently not.

I usually don't leave reviews, but I had to this time. I strongly advise to use another company. I usually use Hambel's Plumbing. Honest and reliable! Now back to Mac 5. Technician came out to one of my rental properties in Viera. After he diagnosed my tankless water heater issue, he determined that it was """"fried"""", as in no good and I needed a new one. He quoted me three options; between $5100 and $6400. Uh, nope! I had a feeling he was trying to sell me on something that wasn't needed. I asked him to please stop. I told him I was going to call my regular plumber to take a look, which is Hambel's Plumbing. They quickly came out, and after about 45 mins called me to tell me it's fixed and I'm all set. They replaced the regulator for $190. So, I reached out to Mac5 and explained that their technician told me my water heater was no good and I needed a new one, which he tried selling me upwards of $6,400. Also told them Hambel's fixed in 45 min for $190 and I would like a refund of $109 Mac5 charged me. Long and short of it all; No refund. Sorry, but technician spend over an hour there and we should get paid for his time, the manager told me. Finally I said fine, no problem I'll simply dispute the charge and give them this wonderfully crappy review, which seems fitting, given the terrible service provided. Wish I would have looked at all the other similar, bad reviews before calling them. Ugh! Anyhow, buyer beware. Call Hambel's Plumbing. Tell 'em Mike sent you. And by the way, I could buy same complete unit online delivered for $1,150 and have installed. If it really did need to be replaced, Hambel's said they would have been at most 1/3 of of what Mac5 wanted to charge, or maybe even less, like around $1500-$1700 installed.

Their technician showed up on time and gave a fair estimate. He pointed out that some of my attic duct work had reached its life span and he would be glad to service them but they would need to replaced in the year. We decided not to clean them and get them replaced this winter. We are in the process of getting estimates and bids now.

Run....don't walk away from this company! Paid for a leak detection, charged me for it, would not make a suggestion of where the leak was (even after I showed him the location).....tried to sell me a repipe of my house...was in and out in less than 20 minutes....called American leak detection- found the leak and repaired it in less than an hour and a half (and the leak was exactly where I said it was). Don't waste your hard earned money with this rip off company

On a repipe Max 5 errors 1 - ruined a freshLy painted bedroom with a water leak they caused 2 - installed a shower faucet upside down 3 - installed a sink faucet which leaked after installation 4 - permit failed 5 - kitchen sink leaked after permit fix was done Our pipes burst on 7/31. A plumber from Max 5 came that night and we signed an agreement to have the whole house repiped. The workmen came the next day,Tuesday 8/1, although we were promised water Tuesday, we got cold water on Wednesday 8/2. Wednesday they destroyed a freshly painted bedroom by causing a water leak in the ceiling. On Thursday 8/3, they supposedly finished. Thursday they were called back to fix a sink faucet they installed that leaked. Max 5 didn't put in the permit untill Saturday 8/5 after I called the office asking about a permit. On Monday 8/7 of the following week they finally filed for the permit. Tuesday 8/8 they were called back because a shower faucet they installed was upside down. Thursday 8/10 they came back to fix the permit failures. On Saturday 8/12 they are scheduled to come back to fix a leak caused by the permit fix

Called them To Look at a wall outlet that wasn't working and they quoted me $800. I had another company look at it and it took them 10 minutes to figure out another outlet had tripped. Easy fix. Mac5 wanted to make a big deal out of it and charge me an arm and a leg.

great company . they came the next day and gave me a price. very honest sales man joe. the guys tat did work respected my home , and my husband and me. call they will be there on time .
