Their technician, Mario, came out on Thanksgiving when I had called at least two dozen other electricians with no responses from all. I had lost all 220 power and FPL said it was an inside problem(they were wrong). Mario diagnosed the problem in seconds. He then very patiently gave me options on updating service, but not a hard sell. The bill was high but that is because the company assumed he fixed the problem instead of just diagnosing it. They very quickly refunded, within days, the difference. FPL had to come out the next day and fix what was an underground wiring problem. So, my experience was excellent with both Mario and the company. I hope Christmas goes better.

The worst experience of my life!!! Do not use them. What a nightmare from beginning to end. Did not finish the job. Didn't care that I was dissatisfied as they were paid in advance. Very disgusted!! They not deserve even 1 star

Quick interaction/communication and a very professional service technician (Stephan). That is where the positives end, however. Felt like a total scam and their quote was WAY over what is reasonable for this work. Looking for a simple toilet swap out and they quoted almost $450 including haul-away (almost $300 without haul away). This is 30 min of work for a qualified technician. Company also provides a script to constantly try to upsell with needed add-on services. I would steer clear of this company, for any services.

So im a 40 year old disabled vet. Had mac 5 come out for electrical issue the tech was really nice honest guy. Showed me how getting a 2nd whole home surge protector wouldnt add any benefit. I did join the loyalty maintinance program. 2 free ac tune ups a plumbing tune up. Anyway the ac guys come the guy shows me my cold air return isnt enough the builder should have added a 2nd one. He quoted me 308 bucks with the veteran discount. I thought about it thats kinda high but getting on the floor causes me great back pain. So i decided ok go ahead I signed the work order which made it a valid contract. I get a call the morning of yea we cant send a tech out for a 300 dollar job theres bigger and better jobs out there for us. So he says it will be 832 bucks to cut a 20x20 hole in my wall and install a 30 dollar return grate. I called the Florida AG on them I guess I will be getting a check for my 199 bucks for the program I joined back. About to call my lawyer and see if I have a breech of contract here. I did the job myself in 30 min. An experienced tech can do it in under 15 min and they wanted 832 bucks. Im not done wirh these clowns. I didnt have a yelp acct so I couldnt see the reviews. On google they have a 4.9 yelp 2.4 wonder what shenannigans they are playing on google. Heads up Mac 5 you just wronged the wrong man. Since covid many companies have been screwing everyone over. I have dealt with many companies lateley not being ethical not upholding warranties playong games and just being total bums. Im disabled and dont have a job I have the time to protest on the sidewalk in front of your business. MAC 5 STIFFS VETERANS BREECHES CONTRACTS AND RIPS THEM OFF PRICE GOUGERS. I AM BED RIDDEN TODAY CUZ I HURT MY BACK HAVING TO DO A REPAIR THAT THE INTIAL 308 PRICE GOUGE WASNT ENOUGH FOR YOU YOU HAD TO GO FOR MORE. MY BACK WILL HEAL IN A FEW DAYS. WALMART HAS POSTERBOARD FOR A BUCK EACH MY PROTEST SIGNS MAYBE 2 POSTERBOARDS PER 6FT LONG 2X2 STICK 2 STICKS SOUND GOOD LOTS OF INFO FOR PEOPLE DRIVING BY TO SEE. SEE YOU GUYS NEXT WEEK. AND ITS PERFECTLY LEGAL TO PROTEST YOU PEOPLE ON PUBLIC PROPERTY!!!

When you need products and services, Mac5 provides them. Excellent customer service and prompt appointment completion. The plumber examined various potential problems in our house for a considerable amount of time and provided some excellent ideas.

Would have given a zero if possible. Quoted me double for hvac, for lower seer than I bought for over 50% less. I wouldn't let them work on anything I own. I have their quote. They quoted me an outrageous number for a new system, and then after I laughed at them they came down to slightly over double what I ended up getting the job done for.

Highly don't recommend. They told us a free estimate on electrical services when we called about plumbing services and they went on to try to sell us a bunch of things. Once we said no it must've upset them because how ironic our a/c stopped working. Had another company come out and fixed a/c in 5 min. This company had never put the pieces back in properly so it caused a trip in the circuit. I don't recommend and they are only out for your money and a quick sale. Please don't allow them to do a free check up. Their field techs are not honest about what they are doing to customer homes.

Believe all these horrible reviews and DO NOT use this company. They waive their $39 """"service fee"""" if you have their $99 """"maintenance plan"""" only to hit you with an immediate $225 """"diagnostic fee"""" the minute they come through your door. Once they hit you with the $225 diagnostic fee they inflate their service quotes to absurd amounts just as all these other customer reviews state. Total cons. Example - $350 to replace a simple ceiling fan. Just a fan swap out for $350. No wiring, etc. Just literally swapping out an existing fan $350. Trust their 1 star rating. This company both unprofessional & unethical.

Stay far away from this company!! Our downstairs A/C unit was having trouble and wasn't blowing cool air. They sent someone out and he said that there wasn't any freon in the unit and it'd be $850+ to fill it up. I understand Freon is expensive but we ended up sending them away and calling someone else. Turns out our Freon was completely fine and it was the capacitor that needs to be replaced. If you want to get scammed and pay over priced prices then give them a call.
