chris and his team are honestly just the best. i've been using them for years and they are so reliable, honest and efficient. they've done small jobs such as just unclogging a toilet, to replacing a water filter as well as larger jobs like a busted pipe in the wall. definitely a customer for life.

Tried calling the plumber I used before -- he didn't return my call. After my experience with Lucas, unfortunately for him he's now fired.

I called Lucas after seeing their truck and then looking at their Yelp rating. Even though they were booked for the morning, they sent Jay out between morning calls. He quickly identified a pinhole leak and fixed it within an hour. He also gave me some advice on when the pipes (old copper that are starting to go) might need to be replaced.

Service from everyone involved was prompt and friendly. The person who took my call at the office explained in detail how pricing worked -- no mysteries, which is good. Jay was also very friendly, identified the problem, and fixed it quickly.

The positive Yelp reviews are well-deserved. Lucas gained a new customer today.

Great job - done fast - reasonable price!

I called Lucas Plumbing based on Yelp reviews, recommendations from a local neighborhood bulletin board and reviews on Angie's List.

I called on a Saturday and left a non-emergency message, Chris called me the next working day (Monday), at 7:30 am, and scheduled a technician to arrive that same day, between noon and 2:00 pm.

A little after noon, the SNAKEMASTER arrived. With friendly & efficient service, he snaked my line to the street and got rid of the bunches of tiny roots that were semi-clogging our drain.

When asked how much, he said the company will bill me for the flat-fee rate, which was very reasonable & right in line with other honest plumbers who do not overcharge.

I will definitely call Lucas Plumbing again whenever I have a plumbing issue. Highly recommended!

These guys used to be very customer focused. We recently used them and this is no longer the case. Additionally, the person who answers the phone when you call Lucas plumbing, has become very unpleasant to deal with.

I've used them before many times and referred them to coworkers in my corporation. I'm not sure why the customer service has dropped as it has. I am no longer referring them. Surprising to find such recent and positive reviews on Yelp.

Lucas Plumbing is awesome. I have used these guys at least four times in the past year, for different issues. Most recently, to remodel my bathrooms and my kitchen. They did an awesome job, on time, cleaned up after themselves, and the work was perfect. I have them on speed dial! You cannot go wrong with Lucas Plumbing. Chuy is the best! And Chris is a good negotiator. Really great service from these guys.

These guys are so awesome! They were fast,clean and really nice. They replaced the grease trap at my job yesterday, and were so quiet I didn't even know the job was done. I would definitely recommend their services and I will be calling them again.

This is my second review. Had great experience with them previously so I decided to call them back up when my tenant said there was a clog with the sink.
Typical Lucas Plumbing tech would have taken less than an hour for clog, but for some reason this guy stayed for 4 hours.
Charge came out to $430 for a clog. The other unusual part was they asked to get paid upfront. Typically Lucas would have invoiced us later. This method of asking upfront are the same tactic used by plumbers the home warranty companies hire. Extremely bad.

I thought it was odd, and I started to read the other reviews and found out the company was sold off. New management, meaning new style.

These guys came out and quickly and efficiently cleared my stopped kitchen drain. They cleaned up my food filled sink and the plunger that I had tried to use to clear it myself. Great attitudes!

I live in Torrance where regular plumbing work are necessities couple times a year in order to remove roots from the drain pipes. Last April, my main line backed-up. I called my regular plumber but he was working on a project and he couldn't come until the following week so I called a local Torrance plumber.

This Torrance local plumbing company sent a smooth talking plumber who snaked the 4"" line through the mainline clean-out in my driveway with a very small claw. I asked him to use bigger (3-4 inch) claw, but he said that it wasn't necessary. Needless to say, 2-days later, main line backed up, same plumber came and snaked with small claw again and he talk me into paying for camera. Afterwards, he insisted a driveway digging work to correct the problem. I believe he created a situation to do bigger costly work.

Instead of continuing service with this plumber, I called LUCAS PLUMBING and spoke to Chris next morning. Same morning, Scott and Mike came out, snaked the main line with 4-inch claw. They also snaked the slow draining kitchen pipe.
Instead of an upfront payment, Lucas billed me later to insure my satisfaction with the plumbing services rendered. After a month, NO issues. My wife is happy, we're happy.

I am switching to LUCAS PLUMBING for the annual snaking needs and will call LUCAS for ALL my future plumbing needs. Thank you LUCAS PLUMBING team.

As an apartment manager of several buildings, Lucas Plumbing has been a lifesaver. I managed a 52 apartment complex and a 28 apartment complex. Nobody in the South Bay has been more punctual and thorough. Best of all their prices have always been the CHEAPEST.
