Same day service on replacing a dead water heater. Jay and Matt did a great job, fast and professional. Showed up when they were supposed to (in fact, a few minutes early!) and they are super nice guys too. Asked Jay to give me a quote for a small job I've been putting off and now we're booked to have it taken care of next week.
Couldn't be happier. I called Lucas Plumbing based on a friend's recommendation along with the Yelp reviews, and they were all right. Would give them 6 stars if I could.

Gabe was the ""snake master"" at our home today. Arrived within an hour of calling. Friendly, professional and reliable service in diagnosing our back-ups, etc. Was referred by KOLB Plumbing , also awesome, who had been our plumber. On time, friendly, and a great price. These guys got good reviews on Angie's List, and we were really happy with the service. 'Chewie' come to our house to clean out/snake the mainline, and he was awesome. I'll recommend these guys to anyone who needs a plumber.

Very positive experience! The gentleman who answered the phone was very pleasant and got someone out to my house same day. Jose was quick, knowledgeable and professional. We live in a community with multiple plumbing issues even though it's newly built. I am so thankful to find a plumbing company that's not out to scam their customers. We have had multiple negative experiences of untrustworthy plumbing companies and I think we've finally found a legitimate one! Also, not expensive at all! I will definitely use again!

I would avoid Lucas Plumbing.

About two months ago we hired Lucas Plumbing to replace the valve to our main water supply line from the city. Unfortunately, Scott Lucas either forgot to flush the city main prior to reconnecting it to our line or didn't do it long enough because many of the units in our townhome complex experienced clogged faucets and rusty toilets. About a month later, we received an unusually high water bill. It took some investigative work to discover that the valves in our new irrigation system were also clogged with debris and staying open, even after the control system had signaled to shut them off.

I tried calling Lucas twice to discuss the work that they had done and left messages with office staff but never received a return call from the owner. On my third call, the owner, Scott Lucas answered the phone. I explained to him what had happened. He asked me, ""What do you want me to do about it?""

That's the first warning sign when a service provider asks a customer that question. It's confrontational and a deliberate attempt to avoid responsibility. Scott, you're the expert, you should be offering solutions to me, not asking me! Scott did not offer to help with our situation, he simply said he'd done his job and the problem was ours to handle.

Perhaps Scott's done good work elsewhere, but when a problem arises, he avoids responsibility. A true 4 or 5 star business shines when things go wrong. Lucas Plumbing has shown that they are *NOT* that kind of business.

chris and his team are honestly just the best. i've been using them for years and they are so reliable, honest and efficient. they've done small jobs such as just unclogging a toilet, to replacing a water filter as well as larger jobs like a busted pipe in the wall. definitely a customer for life.

Tried calling the plumber I used before -- he didn't return my call. After my experience with Lucas, unfortunately for him he's now fired.

I called Lucas after seeing their truck and then looking at their Yelp rating. Even though they were booked for the morning, they sent Jay out between morning calls. He quickly identified a pinhole leak and fixed it within an hour. He also gave me some advice on when the pipes (old copper that are starting to go) might need to be replaced.

Service from everyone involved was prompt and friendly. The person who took my call at the office explained in detail how pricing worked -- no mysteries, which is good. Jay was also very friendly, identified the problem, and fixed it quickly.

The positive Yelp reviews are well-deserved. Lucas gained a new customer today.

Great job - done fast - reasonable price!

I called Lucas Plumbing based on Yelp reviews, recommendations from a local neighborhood bulletin board and reviews on Angie's List.

I called on a Saturday and left a non-emergency message, Chris called me the next working day (Monday), at 7:30 am, and scheduled a technician to arrive that same day, between noon and 2:00 pm.

A little after noon, the SNAKEMASTER arrived. With friendly & efficient service, he snaked my line to the street and got rid of the bunches of tiny roots that were semi-clogging our drain.

When asked how much, he said the company will bill me for the flat-fee rate, which was very reasonable & right in line with other honest plumbers who do not overcharge.

I will definitely call Lucas Plumbing again whenever I have a plumbing issue. Highly recommended!

These guys used to be very customer focused. We recently used them and this is no longer the case. Additionally, the person who answers the phone when you call Lucas plumbing, has become very unpleasant to deal with.

I've used them before many times and referred them to coworkers in my corporation. I'm not sure why the customer service has dropped as it has. I am no longer referring them. Surprising to find such recent and positive reviews on Yelp.
