These guys are the best. One of their competitors tried to charge me $4k and said it would take 5 hrs to fix a drainage issue at my business. My garbage disposal died after hosting a large party and I needed to get it fixed asap. I sent out a half dozen inquiries that night and Local Drain Specialist got back to me almost immediately. I explained the issue and Carlos came out the very next morning and replaced the disposal for a fair price. Carlos is knowledgeable, honest, and communicates well. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend.

UPDATE:
Within a short time of posting my initial review, the co-owner, Carlos, reached out and apologized for my experience, and offered to make things right by coming out personally to clear my drain. In less than an hour, my drain was cleared! I appreciated that Carlos took the time to rectify the issue, and also saved me from getting swindled by another plumber. Would definitely recommend working with Carlos.

First they offered me a same-day appointment to snake my drain via the Yelp project/bid feature, then said it was no longer available. They then offered me a 12PM appt the next day and confirmed that their $99 drain cleaning special was still valid, and sent a confirmation text showing an appt window of 12-1PM. I called at 1:40PM when no one showed. I got a call back as was told the plumber's van wasn't
working and that another plumber would be out at approx 2PM. At 230PM I was calling again because no one showed. I was assured someone was on their way, and this time told the plumber went to the wrong job first--so many excuses and not once did anyone take any accountability for the lack of communication. The plumber finally called around 240PM saying he was 20 mins away. It's now 3:22PM, and he finally arrived, quoting me $155 for the job. Hard pass. Unprofessional, no communication. Not worth the free
estimate.

Their first service was quick and very good--I would have given them 5 stars. However, my experience with a second repair job was disappointing. No one showed up at the scheduled time, and I was told that previous jobs were delayed and needed to be finished first. I understood and agreed to reschedule for the next day, but once again, no one showed up. The technician ignored my messages and calls. When I reached out to their main number, I spoke with someone who seemed to be the owner or manager, who said he would contact the technician. After that, I never heard back--neither the technician nor the owner followed up. Unfortunately, their lack of communication and reliability has made it difficult to recommend them.

Our water heater needed some attention and I contacted Local Drain Specialist via Yelp (last spring.) We did a lot of communication via the app and text message and after inspection we decided to get a new water heater. The technician that worked with us was very knowledgeable and friendly... and fast!

I loved how convenient everything was. That night our new water heater was making all kinds of crackling sounds and they reassured us that was normal for a new water heater. The next day they followed up to make sure everything was ok - that was nice touch.

They were fantastic. I called several plumbers to clear my line; the first quoted me $250, and the second, whom I hired, couldn't clear it and suggested I pay $1,600 for a power water technique! I declined, called The Local Drain Specialist, and they cleared the line in just 20 minutes! I highly recommend them, and they'll be my go-to plumber from now on.
