Full transparency, this is my email I submitted to the company. Here's my experience: Good morning I finally found out why my shower was leaking after your plumber replaced the shower valve. Apparently he did not remove the cartridge before sweating the copper pipes. Due to the high heat and every plumber knows that there are rubber gaskets inside of the shower valve within the cartridge and instead of removing the cartridge and sweating the copper pipes, he left everything in place dust melting the rubber gaskets, I was only able to find this out after talking to the manufacturer of the valve Simmons, as well as having someone else come out and remove the cartridge to see that the gaskets had been melted. I say all this to say that I chose you on Yelp for high reviews. However, my experience has been dismal. You initially quoted me $850 to replace the shower valve after I submitted photos so there is transparency in the scope of work that needed to be done. When I went to confirm, the charge went up to over $950. And I had to pay 50% of the amount in advance although legally, I'm only obligated to pay 1/3 of the cost. Reluctantly I did so when your plumber arrived, he wanted to charge me an additional $250. After I was stern on not paying the additional cost, he begrudgingly did the work and I wonder if he purposely left the cartridge in so I would call you back. When I called you back and told you my shower neck was still leaking you sent him back out to ""check his work"" and I received a bill for over $100 as a service fee. In addition to an estimate to replace the cartridge for over $300. Do you think that this is moral? Nonetheless our group you in with the rest of mediocre overpriced trades on the island who care more about taking peoples money than doing quality workmanship. I will also be submitting the same text on Yelp.

This was my second time having Little Big Plumbing do work at my house. My electric water heater was old, rusty and seeped water sometimes so I gave them a call before it turned into a bigger problem. Mike came out promptly, discussed different options like solar, tankless and traditional tanked water heaters. We decided a tanked would best meet my needs and budget. I had them supply the water heater and they installed it flawlessly. They even took the old tank. Little Big Plumbing is a pleasure to work with, it's good to have a plumber you can trust.

I was assigned LBP by American Home Shield warranty and they did not disappoint! I was really hesitant bc the last few plumbers from other companies weren't that timely or professional. That was never the case with LBP. I would get text and email confirmation for my appointments. The technician would always call me when he was in route. Fixed the leaking valves and replaced two faucets. I would recommend to email or text LBP pics and info of what you need done ahead of your appointment.

Love these guys - they are so on it and very reasonable in their pricing. We only call Little Big Plumbing for our plumbing needs - we trust them! Keone has fixed numerous repairs at our house - he is fast, efficient and communicates well. When you need a plumber call Megan at their office and she will take care of scheduling you so you get the service you need when you need it. They are all so nice and PROFESSIONAL, when they say they will come they are consistently punctual. Good service is so hard to find - Little Big Plumbing is the BEST!

My initial experience was great, I was able to speak with someone (she was sweet), get a quote & schedule an appointment. Then the plumber came out and didn't do the one thing I really needed because I asked about other separate services, and I needed to get another estimate? He also suggested opening up my floors instead of going in the crawl space. He said I would receive an estimate & I wasn't contacted after that. I ended up going somewhere else & got everything I needed done without hesitation.

Mike Wessel, the owner of this great firm, came out personally to our home to do some custom repairs of our very expensive gold fixtures. His work was efficient and fast. I appreciated that he called ahead to say he's on his way. I highly recommend you call them.

Let's get it right, I did not refuse to pay, I paid for the rough in and was not happy so I told you I was going to use someone else to install the fixtures. You agreed that since you did not finish my water heater install that that was fine. As far as the mess up you made with not plumbing out the 2 other pipes. Why would I have you install knobs with settings for those pipes and not want them installed. If I knew you would not answer my call or texts, I would not have signed your iPad that you hurried me to sign, after I told you that the shower pipe was still too short, you said they sell adapters at Ace or home depot. After I signed your iPad you told me your the best let me know if you need anything. If this is how you treat your customers then I would still nit recommend you

I contacted Little Big Plumbing because I wanted to replace the water heater in my condo unit. Megan answered and was familiar with the condo, knew what type of water heater I needed, and gave me a very reasonable quote over the phone. Just based on my first phone call, I knew I was dealing with a company that was organized and experienced. My instincts were right. The water heater came in before the estimated date I was given. The plumber was on time, got the job done quickly, and did good work. Billing was easy and emails were quickly answered. What more could I ask for? I will be using Little Big Plumbing for all my future plumbing issues.
