I am having a terrible experience with Lindstrom Air Conditioning. On July 27, they installed a new motor in my unit, after sweating for two days waiting for them to obtain it . I should have seen a problem when it took the guy 5 hours to install the new motor. The new motor sounded bad. It was too loud. I called them and they sent out a repairman, who then told me that the motor was installed properly, and if I wanted it to be quieter, I could have them install new housing for the motor at a cost of $350.00. Fast forward to Oct. 18. My unit is sweating water out of the vents and suddenly dies. I had to wait until Sat the 21st for them to get a new motor.. A repairman came, told me that the original installer had installed the motor backwards. Not only that, he did not equipped with the proper tools to make the repair. This was at 10 am. Now I am told that they will not return until close to 5:00. Needless to say, it is quite hot. I feel like I'm dealing with """"the three stooges do air conditioning."""" This is not a professional company. They used to be wonderful, as I have used them for many years in the past.This has been an ongoing, lousy experience. I hope I have service by tonight or I will wind up in a hotel because of the heat.

Wonderful experience with them so far. I've used them twice now for repairs on my existing unit. Both technicians have been honest and trustworthy as well as knowledge. The receptionist as well is extremely pleasant to work with. I will be using them exclusively from now on. They have made the stress of owning an ac in south Florida far less painful.

What a joke! Tech was great as he came out to give me a 19 point inspection and cleaning. Let me know about possible mold in my handler. (Looked pretty accurate) Sales guy comes out and acts like the world is on fire! How are you? I'm overbooked he says. I take him outside to see the unit and he says it looks like we have a wiring issue and going to have trouble passing inspection. This is the unit that came with the house 13 years ago! Its the same Lennox unit over 100 neighbors had installed by Divosta but I have a wiring issue? Hated the vibe... Sales all day long... Not the family company they claim to be... I told him I had a budget of 5000 dollars and he said this makes it easy as we can't do anything for under 6500. Mind that this all happened in under 3 minutes as he muttered something about my measurements. My house is 1900 square feet with a single unit! We shook... he left... done with Lindstrom! FYI... Got quotes from 2 private companies for a Lennox and a Goodman for 4800 with Install! It's high pressure sales and I feel for all the senior citizens in the area who get taken advantage of. I tried to call this amazing company and there was no manager available to speak with me! They did call THREE times to make sure I would be home for their employees coming out.

I called them to evaluate and maintain my AC unit, they dispatched a technician. He urged me to install a new AC unit, Despite my unit still operating with now issues. I did not feel comfortable with their service at all a waste of 89$. Also just wanted to sell new unit only. estimated at minimum 5,000$. I strongly believed they are a rip off. avoid them as much as you can. they are shady. Bad

Our air has not been cooling down the house for three days, and we have dogs. Called Lindstrom as we have had two prior contracts with them. Technician came out and did not have the tools to check the system. We loaned him the tools he required. Also, the piece that was difficult to get off was stripped, apparently by the prior Lindstrom employee. The technician advised us that he was unable to find a solution to the problem; and that I needed an appointment with a technician that knew more. WHAT????? The said they would be available to send someone out Monday. By the way this happened on a Saturday. They didn't seem to care that I had dogs, or the conditions we have been under. Run! Don't walk away from them. I am really disappointed in this company and will make sure to let everyone know. They had the gall enough to charge me $89.00.

UV Light SCAM. I have a maintenance agreement with Lindstromon for my air conditioner unit that Lindstrom installed. They came for routine maintenance and the tech said there is a little mildew maybe mold from the condensation building up on the unit and I need to buy UV lights, so the black spots will go away. He took a picture and showed me. I asked, are you sure this is all I need and you guarantee that the black spots will go away. He said definitely. I paid $711 for them to install the UV lights only to find out this was a scam! The UV lights did nothing because as it turns out I have mold all throughout by house stemming from an old ac leak. I filed an insurance claim and hired a mold remediation company that had to remove part of my ceiling, floors, and drywall. Now that my house is free of mold, I need to have the coil cleaned. I called Lindstrom and asked them to remove the UV Light and clean the coil, which is what should have been done instead of the scam UV Light. I have called 4 times and over the past 2 months and am still awaiting the manager to call me back.

I am one of their top customers for over 11 years. Their service is terrible. They say they are coming are always four hours late. This is a new pattern. They used to be on time. Then their service technicians more often than not are not capable of diagnosing the proper issue and have been caught raising my prices. Be it trying to charge for warrantied parts, extra labor or overcharging for filters. I spent over $500 on filters for the year for my ac's. Half are broken and I was told someone will call me to exchange those. Good luck figuring out who can process the exchange for these. I have been without a/c now 8 days. They came and said the part should be in, in a day or 2. They came and installed the part and it still wasn't working the next morning. After stalking them, they came and its still broken. The supervisor supposedly fixed it. Its broken again. They used to have competent service techs. I guess they left for other companies. And I am in the new construction business. I always try to support the small business owner. I cannot recommend them anymore. Anyone have a A/C company they like?

Not only don't they not show up on time the estimates that they give are ridiculous. Price they quoted me was twice what I had the air condition repaired for. It was my first and last time I will ever call this company. I will be surprised if they stay in business. They must rely on people that don't know any better.

ROCCO needs house training .. he is so rude and overcharged !!! He told me my a/c is old and need a new one . seems this is his MO as I SEE IN OTHER REVIEWS. Choose another company !!!
