Lindstrom, your trusted plumbing and AC partner was founded by Carl Lindstrom in 1975 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Our original service truck was an antique station wagon that was sufficiently sized to hold a few staff, a few tools and essential supplies. At that time, services were confirmed by our clients with a handshake. Trust wasn't just a word, it was a contract. After 34 years, Lindstrom has grown into one of Florida's oldest and most respected service companies with over 130 dedicated employees.

Joe has 28 trade-years experience. He has a solid history holding executive positions for two nationwide service firms with thousands of employees each. Joe joined the team for the Lindstrom family in 2001. Joe holds a National Air Duct Cleaners Association ASCS certification with the National Duct Cleaning Association and is an active member of the IAQA. Joe also dedicates his time on the board of advisors for ATI Career Training Center.

Yesterday and today I had the pleasure of interacting with some Lindstrom employees regarding a problem with a water heater I purchased just over a year ago. From the staff who answered the call (Joey), and Frank the Plumbing Service Manager to Joseph the plumber who repaired the problem they are the reason why I continue to do business with Lindstrom. I've purchased an AC unit, Water Heater and AC maintenance agreement from this company over the years and have never regretted it. I have used other such companies in my lifetime but I have encountered nothing but politeness, courtesy, professionalism and more important truly experienced technicians! I must thank Frank the plumbing manager for doing what he didn't have to do, my year warranty on the water heater had just expired and without hesitation he stepped up and repaired it in a timely manner all under warranty. He could have done what was legally binding in their favor but he did what was ethically right and for reasons such as this I am highly recommending Lindstrom for your plumbing and AC needs. You get what you pay for in life but no amount of money can provide you with courtesy, care, integrity and professionalism that I have encountered with the staff at Lindstrom. Thank you very much! Contracted with Lindstrom for purchase and installation to replace 2 whole house AC units. Very quick response with good pricing and scheduling for the installation. Showed up as scheduled with 6 men. Installation was fast , crew was very polite and friendly and did an excellent job cleaning up. That is the good news. Now for the not so good news. Air handler on one unit ran all night so I called about the problem. They promptly sent out a supervisor to check on it. Turns out they wired the air handler as it was hooked up to a heat pump instead of a compressor. Also noted to supervisor that installation crew had not tested the heat function on the new units. Good thing I did. He discovered they had installed the wrong heater in each unit. He reversed them. Think everything works now. No excuse for these errors. Good installation is critical to reliability. Thank goodness I noticed problems. In fairness, I will say Lindstrom promptly responded with a supervisor and fixed them. Hopefully, that is all the problems we will encounter and excellent service will continue. Would have given them a five star if not for installation errors. Update. 2 months after installation, unit quit working due to a coolant leak where a connection was not sealed. Called Lindstrom at 4:30pm on a Friday and technician was here at 6:30pm. Great service. Excellent service from Aaron Martin. Quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me an explanation and fixed it at no charge under warranty. Kudos to Lindstrom and Aaron Martin for their excellent service.

I have a long story about an older reliable Trane A/C unit I had replaced with a newer Rheem unit. Long story short the Rheem unit lasted about 6 years and I had nothing but problems with it so I learned a very expensive lesson and decided to have Lindstrom replace my 6 year old Rheem unit. My experience was excellent. The installers did a great job and everything was installed as I had specified. It has been about a year since installation and my new Trane unit is not only saving me more than $100 per month but I've had zero problems with it. It just runs. I'll be calling Lindstrom the next time I need A/C work done and I'll definitely be buying Trane units from now on.

My hot water heater was old and losing heat. One of the local stores only had one brand of 80-gallon heaters, a hybrid, which I did not want. I googled hot water heaters and only 2 local stores came up. One didn't call me back. Lindstrom gave me lots of good information and carried a highly rated heater, a Rheem, which has a lifetime limited guarantee, if you register it. Lindstrom came over quickly, did a great job of putting in the heater and taking out the old heater, and cleaned up after. They also answered my many questions. Also, I wasn't sure what temperature the heater should be at, so I had to call them the next day to increase it. They came right over. Thanks Lindstrom.

I don't know why people keep posting negative reviews about this company when they actually offer money back if u are not satisfy. I had an excellent experience with them, I got an appointment the next day and The technician was very knowledgeable.

Not impressed. They gave me a two-hour window from 3-5pm. I waited and no one came. No one called. When I called the company they were nonchalant about the whole thing. They really need to train their technicians to communicate with the customers. If the technician had called to say he's running late, I could have arranged my schedule to work around him. But he didn't bother, so I wasted my afternoon for nothing. I'm giving them one more chance. We'll see how it goes. Service oriented companies really need to treat their customers' time with more respect. Geez.

If only there was zero stars!! RIPOFF stay away. Waste of money, and time. They come out and charge you $89 service fee. Even if you use their service it is not deducted. $89 to diagnose problem, last time I checked I know the problem that's why I called you. service guy had no parts with him not even a valve for the refrigerator waterline. Why would you come out if you have no parts. Unprofessional I really don't think he knew his work. Wanted to send me to buy the valves and missing nipples for body sprays seriously then why am I paying you???? call someone else save yourself time and money.

I had an appointment for preventive maintenance for 8:00 -9:00 a.m. on a Friday. They called the Wednesday afternoon before to confirm that time. On Friday by 9:00 a.m. no tech and bo call. I called the office and was told that they had a """"meeting"""" and the tech could be there """"shortly,"""" which she clarified when asked meant """"about"""" 45 minutes. I asked why I wasn't called, she offered no explanation. Needless to say I cancelled my service agreement, about which she was indifferent. Avoid this company if customer service means anything to you.

CAUTION TO EVERYONE CONSIDERING LINDSTROM FOR THEIR A/C NEEDS --- STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!! I do not often write reviews but after my horrible experience with this company, I feel obligated to let everyone know how unprofessional and dishonest this company is. Lindstrom installed my A/C unit about a year ago. I live in a new construction community. Despite regularly maintaining my unit, over the past year, I have had various issues with my unit. This weekend my unit stopped working. Because of a not so great experience with Lindstrom in the past and due to their overpriced services, I initially consulted another A/C company to assess my unit. The other company determined that the condenser fan motor was broken and needed to be replaced. They called the manufacturer to order the part and were informed that the part could not be ordered under warranty because Lindstrom registered my unit to my neighbor's address. The manufacturer suggested that I follow up with Lindstrom to find out what happened and to help remedy the situation. That same day, I called Lindstrom to advise them of the situation. After being advised that the one person who handles this situation was not in the office, I was told that a technician could come out to my house on Saturday morning to take a look at my unit. On Saturday morning, the technician arrived. I told him that another company assessed the condensor motor was broken. He laughed at me and told me that the other company was trying to rip me off. He completed his """"comprehensive"""" analysis and determined that the unit was not working because the unit was low on gas. Quick fix, right? Well, after paying $284 for gas and the service visit (which Lindstrom charges $89 and the other company charges $39), my A/C was still not working. Lindstrom sent another technician out at 9:30 pm. The second technician immediately determined that the condensor fan motor was broken!!!! Wow, what a brilliant assessment, right?!?!? The technician advised that the parts dept was closed on Sunday so the new motor would not be ordered until Monday. Not having any other options, I ordered the new motor. I called Lindstrom on Sunday to get a better understanding of when they will be able to come back out and install the motor and had the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE experience I have ever had in my life. After explaining my situation (first, not being able to order parts under warranty because Lindstrom carelessly registered my A/C to the wrong address; second, receiving an incorrect assessment from Lindstrom even though I advised the technician that the motor was broken; third, being charged $284 to add gas that the other company never said I needed and an additional $407 to install the motor; and third, not having my one year old A/C unit still not functioning), the customer service rep basically told me that he did not understand why I was upset. He told me that the first technician that came out to my house (and gave the wrong assessment even after I told him what the issue was) was one of the company's best (much better than the second technician). Dumbfounded by this statement, he then told me that I was lying about the warranty situation because the company's system reflected that my unit was under warranty. After confirming that the company's system was wrong, he then told me it's not a big deal. It's a quick fix, which he could not assist with and I would need to call back on Monday to address. After realizing that the first technician may have botched this one, he then told me that mistakes happen. As I sat in my hot home, with my 3 year old son complaining how hot he is, the customer service agent told me that he understood that I was upset because my A/C was not working but did not understand why I was unhappy with the service provided by Lindstrom. He then told me to have a nice day. Folks, people who know me, know that I am a very patient, fair minded person. I put up with a lot of BS that many people would not. I could not stay silent about this horrible experience. This review will be followed up with a complaint to the BBB and attorney general.

Update: Lindstrom called Monday morning and acknowledged their errors To help compensate they gave me one year preventative maintenance gratis. I just wish this could have been resolved sooner.
