Don't even bother with these guys! I talked with Rommel around 8:00 AM and set up an appointment to unclog a drain between 9 and 10 AM. A little after 10:00 AM I called again to make sure they were still coming out to which Rommel replied laughingly that he had an emergency and would be out between 1:00 and 2:00 PM. He apologized for not calling to let me know but assured me he would be here to unclog the drain. It is now 5:25 PM and he is still not here and no phone call either. I wouldn't use these guys if they did the work for free.

If your word is no good, then you can rest assured their work is probably not that great either!

We have had a backup problem in our main line due to roots for the last 7 years. Every year like clock work the main lateral would back up. Over the years we had several different plumbers snake and video the line to see the obstruction, so we knew that the time had come again.
We called Lil Rooter and they gave us a time they would be there in the afternoon. They showed up on time which was a very good indication of the professionalism we would receive. Romell and Oliver showed up and immediately got to business snaking the line and offering to video tape the line for free. Just like in years past we see that the line has gotten worse. Romell offered to give us an estimate on replacing the main lateral with a trench-less pipe burst and under no pressure gave us time to decide to get it done.
We accepted his offer and he put it in writing with a warranty in ink. We decided on a time and due to some scheduling conflict he immediately called us to reschedule by a day which was no problem at all. When the day came to go Oliver and another worker showed up on time and got to work. Minimal to no interruptions while excavating two spots in the front. It wasn't loud as I expected and Oliver asked us to watch the pipe bursting procedure and we were impressed. No problems no hiccups in and out in close to 4 hours. Oliver video taped the completed job and asked if we were satisfied, we were more then satisfied .Cleanup was acceptable because there was none, it was a clean quick job.

Cliffs:
-Needed lateral replaced due to constant backups due to root damage
- Lil Rooter snakes and videotapes, offers estimate to replace line
-Lil Rooter gets job done in 4 hours
-Pipes are clear for whatever we throw at it, lol

Some contractors never call or call you back. Lil Rooter contacted me promptly and they gave me the best offer and began work immediately. They fixed and replaced my 18 year old water heater. When a glitch came up they were willing to do what was necessary to make me happy. They were polite, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend them. I never give 5 stars but in their case they worked so had to make things right for me they deserve this rating.

Rommel the owner its the way to go when it comes down to plumbing. ...Im a manager at Denny's in Pleasanton and we have had problems with our boiler for a while ....I called several people trying to fix it and no one could .I called Rommel and he really helped us out to get a new boiler at a fair price I recommend tgis company to any one his employees are really nice and prices are fair .

We discovered water on the floor around the toilet. Called Lil Rooter and the owner had one of his assistants come out same day to deal with the issue. Turned out we had a crack in the base of the reservoir. After speaking with the owner, assistant went out and purchased (with our approval) and installed the replacement unit. We also asked him to look at why there was dripping from wash basin spigot and shower head. He did and informed us that the fix would require new valve stems. After getting quote, we gave him go-ahead and he replaced the parts and resolved the leak issue...........a couple months later we noticed that the water in the toilet reservoir would turn on frequently for a few seconds. It was annoying and puzzling. We called the owner, Rommel, and set up appointment for next morning. Upon his arrival, he examined the problem and felt it was caused by a defective unit in the recently-replaced reservoir. He replaced the entire whatchamijig (inside the reservoir) and resolved the issue. At least we're not hearing the water spontaneously turning on. We'll hope it remains fixed, but feel confident that owner will honor his parts and service warranty. We hadn't read Yelp before making the initial call. It appears a couple customers are not so happy; but based on our experience, we will not hesitate to call Lil Rooter for future plumbing repair needs.

Expensive... ddnt expect to pay almost $400 for a $35 moen cartridge change in the shower handle :( We just wanted it done rt away n jst happened to hire the 1st person tht showed up. Like other reviews here, he ran out multiple times to his truck, too, for some reason. N it took him over an hour to come back from getting a replacement cartridge :(
