I needed to replace an old toilet. Rommel gave me a great price because I mentioned I found him on Yelp. Instead of an easy switch it turns out the flange was made of cast iron and very rusted. Since I have a concrete slab (no crawl space) I was looking at a jack hammering job that would costs thousands. Rommel felt bad about not being able to finish the job so he decided not charge me even though he had already done a lot work. He even turned down my request to pay him for his gas! Ready for my happy ending? I guess Rommel had an epiphany in his truck because he came back with 2 large bolts murmuring about taking a chance on an idea he had. The bolts held and I have a new toilet! Look for the Lil Rooter van with a pic his adorable chubby-cheeked daughter on the side.

I very highly recommend Rommel, his company Lil Rooter, and his crew who have now done work for me at my residence twice. Rommel is extremely professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy and fair. He has done two major jobs at my home and I have been completely and happily satisfied with all the work done.

I found that being able to view the sewer line problems I had using his camera hookup was so helpful in seeing and understanding exactly what the problems were. He and his crew worked efficiently and had what I consider a major job done quickly. It took a few days, but they were always careful to be sure I had full use of my plumbing each night when they left.

In addition to tunneling under my house, they had to jackhammer through a concrete slab and also my porcelain tile at one portion of the job, and the area was re-tiled perfectly and left spotless. He and his crew were creative in finding a less-than-obvious way to fix a difficult access problem in a way that left no visible sign of their work. I can't say how much I appreciated that they went the extra mile in working out that solution, which saved me from losing cabinet space for them to route a pipeline.

Rommel's crew were extremely neat, pleasant and respectful of my home.

In addition to all of the above, Lil Rooter's prices are very competitive. I would definitely recommend Lil Rooter to my friends and family, and though I hope to have no more plumbing problems in the future, if I do need a plumber, Rommel and Lil Rooter will be the ones I immediately call!

Outrageous estimates and had misdiagnosed the leak. Told me and my husband it was the main pipe, that he would need to break the driveway. His estimate was for $8000. When I called another plumber for another estimate, I was shocked, it was not the main pipes at all, it was the fire sprinkler system. Cost me $850.

Didn't fix the problem, only suggested a total re-do of plumbing throughout for $5,000, and said he would take a check but changed his mind and only wanted cash. He followed me to the ATM to collect like we were going to skip out on paying him. It's our house, where could we go? Poor, poor service.

Highly recommend!!! Had a huge clog in our toilet. They came it right away and fixed the problem! Fast, friendly, knowledgeable!!

our storm drain was clogged, which in turn affected our toilets flushing. needless to say, nasty sewage water was basically spilling over into our basement floor

i showed rommel where i thought the clogged problem was. he took a look at it and in 5 seconds knew what the problem was, and located the source of the clog. inserted the snake tool and voila, within 5 seconds, the water started draining right away!

rommel is super friendly and knowledgeable, you can tell he's really on your side. plus his rate is very very reasonable, cost $150 less than a different company i was going to try.

thanks rommel, you're the first person we'll call when we have plumbing issues again!

Don't even bother with these guys! I talked with Rommel around 8:00 AM and set up an appointment to unclog a drain between 9 and 10 AM. A little after 10:00 AM I called again to make sure they were still coming out to which Rommel replied laughingly that he had an emergency and would be out between 1:00 and 2:00 PM. He apologized for not calling to let me know but assured me he would be here to unclog the drain. It is now 5:25 PM and he is still not here and no phone call either. I wouldn't use these guys if they did the work for free.

If your word is no good, then you can rest assured their work is probably not that great either!
