Do not use this company. I was in the hospital so my spouse was the one who oversaw our repair. They took advantage and ended up spending $1k on a repair that should have cost $200-$300. Not to mention it was a very strange experience where they had to take a picture with whoever was home. They also had to come back out because it wasn't done correctly and charged us AGAIN. Find ANYONE else.

The technicians arrived about an hour or so after calling. They were well-groomed and dressed professionally. They were polite and honest about what would happen. We have found our new plumbing service.

SCAM OPERATION! DO NOT HIRE! Our experience with Lickety Split A/C, Plumbing, and Electric was extremely disappointing. From the start, they were aggressively adamant that we needed to replace all our AC ductwork, citing low static pressure on the air handler. Despite this, they provided no alternative solutions to address the issue. After the fact, I learned there were other viable options they could have considered, such as: * Straightening bent or kinked ducting * Trimming excess ducting to shorten distances and reduce obstructions * Sealing leaks (if any were present) * Adjusting the blower fan speed These alternatives were never mentioned during our initial consultation. Instead, the company claimed the sagging ductwork would cause condensation and promote mold, blaming the issue on poor, substandard work by the original installer. The salesperson emphasized this was a severe health hazard requiring immediate resolution. Notably, the ductwork in question was less than six years old. Later, we discovered that the salesperson was not a technician, lacked formal training, and was unqualified to assess whether the ducting was improperly installed. Beyond the misdiagnosis and upselling, the service itself fell short. The company recommended work that was never completed. For instance, they were supposed to remove and clean the coil, but this was not done. They also promised to install a saddle strap support system for the ductwork in the attic. However, a subsequent technician revealed those straps were back-ordered for a year. Instead, they used the same type of straps that were originally installed. The problems didn't stop there. On a later visit, a technician returned to remove and clean the coil but created more issues. Within days, our HVAC system started making loud noises, and the air handler would buzz and run even when the thermostat wasn't calling for heat. The work they performed caused additional problems. Two other technicians were sent out to troubleshoot these new issues. They discovered that the previous technician had melted wires leading to the safety float, causing a short in the system. This resulted in compressor noise, buzzing from the air handler, a fried thermostat, and charred contact points. All of this could have been avoided if the first technician had paid closer attention to detail when performing the coil service. That technician seemed irritated at having to return to pull and clean the coil, which he had failed to do properly during his first visit, as stated in the work order. Multiple technicians had to revisit our home to correct mistakes from the initial job. To make matters worse, we received contradictory information during different visits, demonstrating a lack of consistency and expertise. Had I not been vigilant and asked questions they would have left all of these issues without concern. A total lack of integrity and transparency on their part. In the end, the company sent the same salesperson to address our concerns--someone with no authority to make decisions. This individual repeatedly had to call his boss, Kevin Cairo, further delaying resolution. Kevin Cairo was particularly unprofessional and dismissive. When we raised our complaints, Kevin blamed the ducting on shoddy contractors and claimed there was organic material (mold) growing in our attic--a claim that had never been mentioned before. The salesperson kept taking Kevin off speaker phone during the conversation. I asked him to put Kevin back on speaker phone since Kevin is the decision maker in this issue. Kevin refused to come to my home to speak in person. Instead, he instructed the salesperson to collect payment. Kevin threatened to place a lien on our home if payment wasn't provided immediately. This approach felt inappropriate and unprofessional. Kevin had no desire to hear our concerns or make things right. As a reputable company, if there was organic material (mold) they should have informed us of such issues immediately so we could mitigate and prevent further spread. I personally went into my attic and there was no mold. Kevin has never stepped a foot in my house to confirm mold growth. He is claiming there is mold in the attic based on photos. At this point I can't confirm those photos were taken in my attic. When I asked Kevin to provide the photos and videos he was referencing he completely ignored my request. I have asked on three separate occasions for the photos and videos that were taken by the technicians. I'm still waiting. No response. Overall, our experience was deeply unsatisfactory. For a company that promotes excellence and boasts a five-star rating on its website, yet holds only a two-star rating on Yelp, Lickety Split fell short in every way. From upselling unnecessary work and failing to provide alternative solutions, to incomplete service, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior, I cannot recommend this company to anyone seeking reliable or trustworthy service.

Do NOT use them. My home had very low water pressure. They added all new plumbing in the attic pretty much. No big deal. Let me tell you how it went. I called and they were EXTREMELY quick at answering. There was a storm so no company was going out in the storm. They did. That's why they get ONE star. They told me that the pipes were crushed. They we needed a whole new system. So I was like sh*t. I have tenants there, they need water. Obviously like okay. They said they could start the work the next day. I said well first I need to know how much it's going to cost me. And I need pictures. They said no problem. The next day I get called from someone else breaking down the cost. $20k. I said oh no. Nvm. No thank you. That guy said don't worry, this will be covered with your home insurance. You don't have to worry about paying anything but the $100 emergency check. We have all the documents you'll need for your insurance rest assured we do this all the time. They can't say no once the issue has been fixed. And I said okay. Please send me everything I will need to submit it to my insurance. Please send me the pictures of the crushed pipes. That day they went forward with the adding new pipes and what not. They made holes in the walls EVERYWHERE. Left. Called it a job done. After they completed the job, they were impossible to get ahold of anyone who could help. I would call and get the same response """"I'll make not and you will get a call back."""" I called for a month straight. They told me """"we do not do wall patching. We have a third party"""" and they would set it up and nobody would come. (4 different times) I got fed up with this and started sending emails. DAILY. The holes were not patched up until a month later and it was because I would not stop bugging. They said """"your home will be left exactly as it was when we entered the home"""". (I can assure you my home did not have those holes prior to them coming in.) I continued to hound them for any evidence of the crushed pipes. I continued to hound them for the e paperwork I would need to make sure it would be approved by the insurance. And I never got either. My insurance claim has since then been closed. And now I have a $20k loan to pay off. Screw this company. If you made it this far, I hope this helps.

I concur with the negative reviews. Look them up on the Better Business site before hiring this company for any service.

I know on here they don't have the best review, and I'm hoping that my review may start to change that tide. I have been working with Lickety split for 3 days to resolve a slab leak I had in my home. This leak had been going on for 10 days, there was no sign of any water anywhere. Rather than using my regular plumber I switched it up. this plumbing company I had typically used will remain nameless but I will say they did my septic field and it was a NIGHTMARE. from install to coordination it was an utter shit show (no pun intended). back to the point of this review though and it being about Lickety split, it took Luke about a day to really find it. He kept at it and felt he found it. Next queue up Henry and Caleb who came out the following day to repair. Upon digging up where we thought the leak was, we came to the surprise that it WAS there. while some may say why is this something to rave about, it's because discovering a hidden leak under a slab is not simple, so I was very happy with that. Once Henry and Caleb got the water out from the slab they got the repair spliced in, covered and cemented over. they also made sure to check the meter to ensure I had no other leaks! I couldn't be happier with this plumbing company. Lastly I want to give a shout out to their customer service team (Angela, Cam, and all the others I worked with). each of them made sure I was happy, being taken care of and help address any concerns or questions. while other reviews may very, my advice to anyone looking for a plumbing company, is to give this one a chance. they legitimately care about the customer, which in this day and age is a rarity. thank you Lickety split for the work you all did for me!

Starting class acrion lawsuit. Spent all day today with a team of lawyers. Feel free to message me tobe included.

I would not recommend Lickety Split. they advertised online a """"same day"""" leak detection for $189. When I called on Saturday, November 2nd, concerning a leak detection """"same day"""" was Tuesday, November 5th at the earliest. Since my leak was not pressing, fortunately, I opted for Thursday, November 7th. On November 7th they arrived at the very end of the appointment window, and before doing any work determining where the leak was at the honed in on the need to """"do a whole home repipe with a """"water softener system"""" because they could guarantee that within a year of fixing the leak the pipes on the home would bust. I advised to find the leak, then give me the prices to fix the leak alone and also the repipe with and without the water softener for me to consider. When they stated they had found the leak, which I already knew to be underneath the driveway, they indicated they could was probably creating a void making it difficult to pinpoint the location but identified an area about 5' x 15' that they were """"certain"""" was the location of the leak. He advised there was possibly more than one. I advised that, instead of cutting into the concrete or digging out underneath it, it would be easier and more affordable to did a trench along the driveway and repipe from the home to the water meter. The cost for this 100' of 3/4"""" pipe $9,689.00 AFTER their $1,588.23 """"member price discount"""" although I have never used them before and am not a """"member"""". What they kept pushing for was the $36,565.00 repipe. I politely advised that. I would need to """"consider it"""" until after the new year and promptly started looking for alternatives as there was ZERO change they would be doing the work. Today I had the ENTIRE driveway replaced, with the leak fixed, for SUBSTANTIALLY less money. Fixing the leak, removing the old driveway, pouring and finishing a new one, and extending my front porch (14 yds of concrete) was less than $7,000.00. The worst part, they were not even close on where the leak was at. Off by a mile isn't doing it justice. It also was not """"creating a void"""" as the link, as I expected and told them when they were here, was a trickle. I was NOT a fast or large leak, but a leak no the less. What this means is that their """"leak detection"""" was a TOTAL WASTE as well. I honestly feel that they were here to sell a repipe and water softener at all costs. Honestly, in my opinion, there is little doubt that they were doing anything less that trying to take full advantage of me but luckily I have a construction background and know full well when I am being ripped off. I know one thing, they will never get a call from me for anything else.

My kitchen sink got clogged so I went online and saw a $79 drain clean special so I called them up, had to prepay and when they came the next day the guy didn't want to put his drain cleaning snake on the pipe because I had used drain cleaner so he told me he will be back the next day but he didn't come so I called the following day and they told me they forgot to put me on the schedule but even though it was now Saturday they will still come because it was their fault. Well a different guy named Jacob came and instead of unclogging my sink he tried to sell me a repipe for the whole house, telling me my pipes were about to burst and my house will be flooded for the holidays. I told him I don't have the money to do a repipe, I just needed the sink unclogged but he still insisted that my house will be flooded and he could give me a no money down, no payments or interest for a year, 27k!!! And then he tells me that to unclog my kitchen sink will be over 1k but they will do it for free if I do the repipe. So basically I paid $79 for them to come tell me I have to pay 27k to get the repipe and unclog sink or over 1k to unclog sink, I feel like they scammed me out of $79 dollars, they didn't do anything, the guy wouldn't even give me a estimate because he feared I will take it to another plumber. The next day I went to Home Depot and rented a drain cleaner snake for $58 dollars and unclog it within an hour. Do not hire this company unless you are super wealthy and don't mind overpaying.

Still no refund as of 10/28. Been waiting since 8/26/2024. BIG SCAMMERS..........stay away and sue them
