Yep, 100% commission-based business, almost no real work! I signed up last summer when our humidifier went down. Just called to cancel my $8/month service, because on the regular checks, they just visit and quote you useless things like 'condenser cleaning', level 2 cleaning, etc. each one costing few hundred dollars here and there. The humidifier quote was ~ 1400 dollars (for manual), luckily I did not fell for that, after finding a good humidifier is $200~300. Hard to imagine the rest is the installation cost! Eventually, I found another company (very honest guy) and my humidifier was installed under $500. hmmm... worth a thought!

This company is a major joke!!!! After calling me weekly to get a furnace check on a heating system that has been replaced in the last 6 months and is brand new I specifically told them I don't need that I need a humidifier installed. They came to my house to give me an estimate and asked more per hour than a neurosurgeon. Then they have the audacity to Harass me for 33$. They did not check anything at all. I think they are suffering as a company and are harassing people for money!! I'm going to complain to the bbb as they are asking me for my credit card number without providing any kind of service. They did not even ""check"" my furnace or provide any kind of documentation of anything... this is complete fraud and I'm taking this up with the state!!!

Any company that spoofs a phone number to send unsolicited text messages cannot be reputable. Especially from someone named ""Ebone"", spoofing phone number (630) 394-9800. Disgraceful.

I called them twice in 6 months to repair our furnace. They never fixed anything.
I called a different guy and told me the igniter was loose. He just tightened it and that was it.
Stay away from Leslie.
Call someone else.

After years of using another HVAC company, we ended up getting a better price from Leslie Heating & Cooling on a new furnace. I have no complaints on their install. They did a very complete and nice job on the new furnace.

I signed up for their $16.00 a month maintenance plan. I asked repeatedly from the Leslie Sales Rep to send additional information on what exact services their yearly service plan covered and what it didn't cover. They never provided after repeated requests. I was definitely the stupid consumer for signing up without understanding what it consisted of. So shame on me.

Fast forward to the first visit when they came to do a yearly checkup on my condenser, the technician said it was dirty and to clean it would be EXTRA. I found this strange because my other company never charged to clean. We own other properties out of state, and those HVAC companies also don't charge extra for routine maintenance.

Fast forward to this last month, Leslie came out to do the yearly service on my furnaces and recommendation over $500 of additional services. One of the recommendations would have been covered by my Lennox warranty but the technician made no observation of that. I shouldn't have to remind him of that. It's clear their technicians have a commission based salary and it shows. I've decided to switch back to my old service company that isn't commission based whom did routine furnace cleaning, condenser cleaning, made adjustments to equipments, and recognized warranty work all within their standard yearly service plan. When and if I have a serious problem, I want to trust my technician and not believe that they only have dollar signs on their mind and are looking to up sell.

DO NOT USE THEM!! THEIR TECHNICIAN LEFT MY FURNACE BLOWER CAPACITOR DISCONNECTED AFTER A FURNACE CHECKUP! HERE IS THE STORY:
Their technician performed a checkup on my furnace and told me that the furnace worked properly. He said there were a couple things (pressure adjustment and blower cleaning) that needed to be done. I told him I will call to schedule for the extra work. The technician put things back BUT WITHOUT CHECKING WHETHER EVERYTHING WERE PUT BACK PROPERLY TO MAKE SURE THAT THE FURNACE WAS IN WORKING CONDITION! Since the weather was warm, my tenant did not turn on the heat until after 10 days later (on Oct 16, 2020 Friday). My tenants were woken up by the coldness that night and they noticed the temperature was 61F even though the thermostat setting was 68F. The next day (Oct 17, 2020), my tenant called me and told me that the furnace was not working. So I called Leslie Heating to explain that their technician worked on my furnace and now it was not working anymore, and told them I need someone to come ASAP. Since it was Saturday, the answering service answered the call, I called twice and on the second time, I told the answering service the technician's name who worked on my furnace. I waited until late afternoon on that day, but no call from Leslie Heating! So I went over to my rental house and checked the furnace myself. WHAT I FOUND WAS THAT THE TECHNICIAN LEFT THE BLOWER CAPACITOR DISCONNECTED! I connected the capacitor back, and the furnace started to work right away. The next morning (Sunday Oct 18, 2020), I received a phone call from a gentleman in Leslie Heating's marketing team to ask me what happened. I explained and told him that I was worried that when the capacitor was left out and the furnace on, there might be long term effect on the furnace blower motor, the gentleman said he would tell their manager. On Monday (Oct 19, 2020), a lady from Leslie Heating called me, and again I explained to her what happened. She apparently does not know what the capacitor does, and kept emphasizing that I needed to have the other work (pressure adjustment and blower cleaning) done, without even addressing my concern. She ended up saying that she would let the manager know. Up to now, I have not received a phone call from the company to apologize to me for what their technician did, and to address my concern.

They do good work, no problem there. My only issue was their monthly ""family plan"" where you get two visits a year if you pay $15 a month. I thought that was a good deal, but their visits are only for inspection, not cleaning. If you want cleaning, expect to add another $70 per visit. So in the end, using another company that inspects and cleans is a much less expensive option.

We have used Leslie Heating & Cooling for over a decade and we are done with this company. We scheduled our spring/summer systems checks and the morning they were supposed to be at our home they called to cancel with what seemed like a good reason. We reset the date of service and I was told the date was firm as they do not cancel a second time. No problem. The next date of service came and when no one showed up in the time frame scheduled I called and was told they had called that morning to reschedule and received a busy signal. No message was left and in checking my phone no such call had been received. Upon expressing my displeasure I was told a supervisor would call me back, that was three weeks ago and no such call has taken place.

Do not use them! They caused nightmare to my family especially my 5-month old son. We were using their maintenance plan and 10 days ago a technician from Leslie came, checked the HVAC system and said everything is working great. Last night we tried to turn on the AC and noticed the condenser was not working and the nursery was 85F+. My baby and even us could not fall asleep! This morning we had some technician from another company to come check it out. It was fixed in one second, literally! The problem is LESLIE DISCONNECTED OUR CONDENSER PHYSICALLY!! This is ridiculous. You knew summer was coming and you disconnected our AC?? Knowing we have a 5-month baby at home?? NEVER USE THEM!! FOR YOUR FAMILY ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE YOUNG KIDS AT HOME!!

I had a terrible experience. I had a service call to have my AC unit cleaned. When Eric Smith arrived, he went to the backyard to ""set up"". He opened the unit and I left him do his thing. He then came in the house to turn the unit on, which wouldn't turn on. That was a surprise to me. I haven't had any problems with it. I asked him what he thought was wrong with it. He said I needed to replace the starter which would cost $308. I told my husband and he bought the starter for $16! 16 dollars! He went to replace it, and realized that the servicer switch was flipped. He flipped it back over and plugged it in. BAM! The AC unit turned on! So Eric came here and switched it so the unit wouldn't work. I could not believe this! There was NOTHING wrong with my AC and wanted me to pay $308! So Unbelievable. This company is taking advantage of people. I'm appalled! I would not recommend Leslie Heating and Cooling to anyone!
