LJI started as a subsidiary of Leon's Electric & Plumbing in Schulenburg, Texas, launched by entrepreneur Leon John Langhamer. Leon took over A&W, a established HVAC contractor in El Campo at that time. Even though there have been many changes from 2003 to present, one thing has remained constant: Leon John's commitment to customer service and satisfaction, no matter the cost.

Leon John acquired the value of construction as a youthful alongside his father, Leon Henry, who started Leon's Electric & Plumbing in Schulenburg, TX in 1959. Over the years, Leon John acquired state licenses in the plumbing field, electricity, Environmental HVAC, and the refrigeration sector. His enthusiasm lies in the HVAC field.
