LJI was founded as a division of Leon's Electric & Plumbing in Schulenburg, Texas, established by entrepreneur Leon John Langhamer. Leon purchased A&W, a established HVAC contractor in El Campo at that time. Although there have been many changes from 2003 to today, one aspect has continued constant: Leon John's focus to client satisfaction and quality, irrespective of the expense.

Leon John learned hard work in the building industry as a young boy alongside his father, Leon Henry, who started Leon's Electric & Plumbing in Schulenburg, TX in 1959. Over the decades, Leon John earned state licenses in Plumbing, Electric, HVAC, and refrigeration. His enthusiasm lies in the HVAC sector.
