Luke was amazing. Legacy was able to send someone out the same day I called. Luke advised me of my problem, explained it to me in terms I could understand, and left the course of treatment up to me and my budget. He even advised me of work I might need done in the future and quoted me for it, but didn't push me to have it done today. He even stayed to make sure the problem was completely finished instead of getting a temporary fix, taking my money, and then running out (which has happened before with other service people I've had out from other companies). He make extra sure to clean up after himself too. I cannot thank Luke and Legacy Plumbing enough. You have a lifetime customer.

After being sent 2 different Plumbing companies through our Home Warranty company; one saying I needed a new Shower Valve which they'd have to cut through guest bedroom wall to access and the other saying I actually needed to install a water pressure reduction valve - both of which would be expensive options, I decided to do some homework to find a Top-Rated Plumbing Company in the Allen, TX area. I narrowed it down to 3 and Legacy Plumbing made the cut. They gave me a range of estimates regarding what I was looking at cost wise depending on what was needed and the amount of time to install a Pressure Reduction Valve. Even with Legacy having by far the more numerous amounts of positive reviews (and being listed in Allen's Top Picks 2022), I found their pricing was also the most reasonable of the 3 top companies I had narrowed it down to. So, I rolled the dice and schedule an appointment for them to come out and install a Pressure Reduction Valve and was looking at it costing anywhere between $950-$1,600. Although, based on the information I had received regarding my needs, I was pretty sure it was going to cost me $1,600. Which was still about $600-800 less than the next closest ball park estimate.

The Legacy Plumbing Specialist that arrived was named Ahndre (yes that's the proper spelling, Ha). I caught him up on my current plumbing situation regarding the Home Warranty Company and the 2 different plumbing companies they had sent out. I informed him the 2nd company said our water was coming in from the main at 100 PSI and that was most likely what was causing our problems. They also said it would continue to cause ongoing plumbing issues and that I should have a pressure reduction valve installed before addressing the other plumbing issues needed.

Ahndre was extremely thorough, checking multiple access points with 2 different gauges to ensure he was getting accurate readings of our home's water PSI. Two came in at 75 PSI and one was 78. Ahndre said he would be happy to install a water pressure reduction valve but that most likely wasn't what was causing our plumbing issues.

Ahndre gave me an evaluation/estimate of our problem with the shower valve stem replacement and recommended swapping out the Mixit shower handle valve for the kind we needed in order to update to a modern single-handle shower faucet/trim we had wanted. He helped me pick out online the type of shower handle and trim we wanted that would work with the type of valve he was going to install and I ran up to Home Depot to purchase while he began prepping for the job. He was very detailed oriented throughout the process, took the time to explain what he was doing/why he was doing it, leak checked without issue upon completion, took the time to do a thorough clean up job as if no work had been done once he was finished and then took the time to offer some advice regarding the caulking work I was planning to do myself.

I would definitely recommend Legacy Plumbing and, if their scheduling permits, request Ahndre as your Plumbing Specialist!!

We had a water leak at our meter, of course it was not a city issue. Call Legacy Plumbing and talked to Cindy, she explained the pricing up front. She worked and got me appointment the next day and then called me back as they had cancellation and was sending a crew out. The 2 man crew were outstanding they found the leak and then went over the estimate for repair. They finished the job and great clean up. Both of the crew were very professional. I highly recommend them.

Had a plumbing issue, called them, sent pictures of what was going on, asked for a quote and was given one. Was in my expected price range so I scheduled them. Tech came out completely clueless (no one gave him the pics I sent) and Ofcourse he found it was exactly as I described, as it was a main line he showed me what the pricing was which was basically triple. I told him there was no way and I'd already called them and sent pics so this shouldn't be a surprise to them/him or myself. So I paid the $50 call out fee basically (which was refunded to me later) but ended up going with another company, which was amazing, took my photos, said they could do it for the same price as I was originally quoted.

Company needs better communication and more down to earth pricing. $700+ to "touch" a main line is ridiculous...wouldn't recommend based off my experience but they did refund me so I wasn't out anything except another day without water.
