One of the most important things for me in hiring a plumber for service work (and/or remodeling) is to have a plumber that stands behind their work. Because during service work (and remodels) there is always an unexpected ""curve ball"" that comes up. I haven't been happy with the way other plumbers have handled those ""curve balls."" But I was extremely happy with the way Rafael handled our ""curve ball."" He proved to me his #1 goal is to make his customers happy!! It blew me away!!
I can't say enough great things about him!! He is a honorable man, and a rare breed!!
He sent Andy out who really worked his tail off to get the job done. Andy was very friendly, a nice young man, and a pleasure to interact with. We had to shut the water off in my building and he didn't ask me to speak to the other homeowners, he eagerly volunteered to do it himself. I only hire people I like and that stand behind their work. I really like Rafael and Andy and I can verify they stand behind their work. That's rare in this day and age.

Rafael was here in 45 min after I called. I called another service and waited 3 hours and they never called back. He got the job done quick and offered a camera view, but I was satisfied with the cleaning. I'll be sure to call Rafael again.

We needed our 60-year-old sewer line replaced and Rafael and Lefty's were wonderful through the entire experience.

He showed up with a camera to thoroughly examine the pipe, gave us multiple options and wrote a thorough and timely proposal. He then answered all my questions which gave me tremendous confidence.

I chose a method called pipe bursting, where they burst the existing pipe and quickly replace it with a new, even larger pipe, without ever damaging the floor or the cement patio. It's actually really cool and so much easier on our yard and house than other methods.

Lefty's showed up on time every single day of the project and everyone was courteous, conscientious and professional. When they encountered issues, they didn't complain like many contractors will, but professionally worked through them.

They finished ahead of schedule, left the areas completely clean, and even installed a drain pipe for a sink I want in the future so we would not have to re-open the trench.

This review is way overdue my husband and I bought our home a year ago and in six months time of living here we had the kitchen sink overflow/backflow overnight..
I wasn't sure what to do so I called Lefty's plumbers to snake the pipes and let me know what was wrong.
Well they came out the next day spent three to four hours here doing a lot of nothing.
Well they quoted me for all kinds of things that they need to get into the big main pipe in my bathroom hallway and it would be a big job and would be thousands of dollars and I was ready to go with them I trusted them because of the reviews on Yelp.
But my husband insisted we get a second opinion and luckily I spoke to our realtor and he told us to use our home warranty and they would send out a plumber.
Luckily we did the plumber came out snaked and cleaned out the kitchen sink and said yes our plumbing is old but it works just fine no need to do all that work that Lefty's plumbers suggested we are so glad we went a different route haven't had any problems since.

I am returning customer writing my second great review. I own a rental Condo unit in downtown 9th avenue. My tenant called me Sunday around 11 AM regarding two plumbing issues, one in kitchen sink and second in bathtub. Since I had great experience with Rafael, I called him and he responded immediately. Around 1:30 in the afternoon he was in my Condo unit and fixed both issues. Great service, fast response and reasonable price. Don't even hesitate to call Lefty's plumbing anytime. I will call him again for any plumbing issue at my house or my rental property.

Raphael the plumber who came to my house to fix the problem that I had requested (water heater) malfunction did did so in an expeditious manner. I was impressed by his demeanor and his explanation of the problem and how do you correct it. As a result I most certainly would recommend Lefty's Plumbing for any kind of problem Dealing with plumbing issues.
