Lee's was established by Phil Lee and his son Bryan as a business centered on commercial cooling. Initially, they operated service calls during the day and did paperwork after hours. They developed the company to meet the needs of both residential and commercial clients. In the year 2011, they sold the business to Tom Howard, a former employee. Today, over 6,000 clients trust us in the surrounding Fresno and Clovis regions.
Tom served under one of the founders, Bryan Lee for many years before leaving to attend business school, believing he could move away from the air conditioning field. He found it impossible to escape. As Bryan pursued other opportunities, he asked Tom to come back and oversee the operation. Since he became President in May 2011, Tom has been the President of Lee's.

My furnace stopped working and I called Lee's to diagnose the the cause.
The tech statement the gas control value and control board needed to be replaced. He provided a quote for $2,500. The quote did not provide a cost of parts - It is winter and I needed the problem fixed and I agreed.
The repair took two hours - the parts involved were less that $300 - I was able to price the replacement parts online.
for 2 hours labor $2,200 - I feel like I was robbed. I would never trust or use this company again.

In addition to my last post. Lee's wanted to charge me $229 to warranty a $30 part for 2 years. For an additional $299. they would give me 10% off parts prices that they marked up 20 to 30 times. Rudy told me my system would not function until they did the repairs. I had to buy a portable heater because I was have a large dinner party that night. The next morning I tried the system and it functioned normally. LEE'S IS THE MOST DISHONEST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Their ""service manager""n caaled and explained their $617.00 min part/call was becasue the repair people drive trucks, have uniforms, and health insurance. WHAT A LOAD OF BS
2/16/24 UPDATE: Had another HVAC company come out. They did a complete inspection and FOUND THAT THE SYSTEM WAS IN PERFECT SHAPE AND HAD NO ISSUES!!!!! They suspect that an acess door had problem come open due to the vibration of the blower and all the Lee's tech did was close it and THEN PROCEED TO QUOTE MORE THAN $1000.00 TO REPAIR IT AND TELL ME I LIKELY NEEDED A WHOLE NEW SYSTEM FOR OVER $10,000.00 !!!! HEED BY WARNING AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Wanted to charge me over $2,500 to hydrojet a single drain. Cost in Los Angeles is $450.

Ernesto T. & the ductwork crew from Lee's were tremendous. They were courteous, intelligent & hard working. They literally stayed the entire day & were professional with the work they were doing. Afterwards, things were explained, pictures taken & the cleanup was top notch. Lee's & their employees do not disappoint. Thanks!

I had had a good experience with this company with a heating problem a while back. I needed a leaking bathroom sink faucet replaced and the matching sink done as well so it wouldn't look strange since the my faucet model was no longer available. I thought the estimate of $1000 was too high, particularly since I bought the faucets myself, but I assumed it was a bigger job than I realized and that I would be charged less if it wasn't a big job. It took one plumber an hour to do it and they still charged me the full $1000. The plumber said ""she just works fast"". I will not be using Lee's again.

Wednesday, day before Thanksgiving my ele/gas HVAC on my roof quits heating, still cools though. My1st choice can't be here till Tuesday (28th) next week. Call Lees, they can be here today (22nd) I've used Lees before no problems. Tech arrives, explain the issue. 1st he wants to inspect the attic, I ask why ""wants to see if the ducts are collapsed"".....1st red flag, takes 4 pics. Goes to the roof, removes all panels, takes 14 more pics, removes blower motor, takes 3 pics, all told 21 pictures.....2nd red flag. Comes back down sets up iPad, and reviews them with us. Problems 1. Crack in heat exchange & cabinets. 2. Inducer motor bad. 3. Melted disconnect service. 4. Cracked solders on circuit board. Estimate for repairs exceed cost of equipment, unit replacement Highly Recommend. *cost of inducer motor $6,200. Cracks in heat cabinet could ""could"" cause bad air in the house. Says they can be here on Friday (24th) to install. Estimates for 4 ton units, #1 all electric $32,056.57, #2 all electric $19,363.36, #3 gas/electric $21,305.27, all with 10 yr. warranty/ including labor, 24/7 service, 100% satisfaction guaranteed. My response was I'd like to shop around, his response ""what was I willing to give up"" to get a better price....3rd red flag, my response ""nothing"" I want to shop around. Says I have till 4 o'clock today to change my mind.....4th red flag. Tuesday of the following week (28th), 1st choice arrives to troubleshoot unit, I make no mention of Lees having been here. After his initial inspection, says I have a bad inducer motor, and the electrical disconnect needs to be replaced. I ask him to inspect the entire heating system, including the heat exchanger and cabinets for cracks, and the circuit board for cracks. No issues found with either of them. For the record the ""cracks"" were deep scratches on the metal which could be mistaken for cracks. The ""crack"" in the solder on the circuit board was not depicted in all of the photos the tech took, and I'm not saying he put them there, it just doesn't add up, and they turned out not to be ""cracks"" just scratches that looked like ""cracks"". Today December 1st my unit is repaired and running for a total $670 dollars. Don't let yourself be fooled just because it is the day before Thanksgiving and you might be desperate. Come to your own conclusions regarding Lees.

Gonna give them a 1 star rating, because they did show up the day before Thanksgiving

They came out the next day and was able to replace the wax ring for the toilet the same time. It didn't take long for him to compete the work.

I needed a kitchen faucet installed, and a bath sink reset. No big deals.
I paid the 49 diagnostics fee, despite me telling the tech exact the issue, and they cam back with a $1,400 + estimate. CRAZY. He wanted to take out my disposer because he could not fit under my kitchen sink. And that would be extra.....
I had my regular home repair contractor (licensed and insured). Do for 250.00.
I could go on, but it serves no purpose. Very disappointed

I can highly recommend Lee's Air, Plumbing & Heating. I have had a service contract with them for the for the past few years and I think it's a very good value. They come twice a year and service my units just before winter and just before summer. My tech Daniel was very good about communicating with me when he's arriving, showing me the condition of, my filters and heating coils. And did a great job cleaning the inside and exterior of my units. I appreciate that he took the time to be very careful and clean instead of rushing through. He spent most of the morning servicing my furnaces. He always put on shoe covers before entering the house. He did a first class job.

I will always call Lee's after my sewer line was completely clogged. They came out on a weekend. Four different technicians worked on my issue over three days. All were excellent, but especially outstanding were David and Brad. They worked an entire day, from 8:30-8:30, including parts of the other two days, trying to solve the problem. Completely respectful of my property, going above and beyond to take care that everything was done with care. Fantastic service!
