Lee's offers heating, cooling, and plumbing solutions to Fresno, Clovis, and surrounding Central California. We specialize in energy-efficient products including tankless water heaters, air conditioning enhancements, and Wi-Fi enabled thermostats. The company was founded by Phil and Bryan Lee as a primarily commercial air conditioning company. In the beginning, they managed daytime service calls and did paperwork after hours. They expanded the business to serve both individuals and companies. By 2011, the operation changed hands to Tom Howard, who had been with the company. Now, more than 6,000 customers rely on us in the surrounding Fresno and Clovis regions.
Tom was employed under one of the founders, Bryan Lee for a number of years before leaving to attend business school, thinking it would help him escape air conditioning. His attempts proved unsuccessful. When Bryan decided to explore other business ventures, he reached out to Tom to return and manage the business. Since he became President in May 2011, Tom has served as President of Lee's.

Tech was easy to work with respected the home and carpet by putting on shoe protectors. He checked the attic, checked the thermostat, checked outside unit, and the issue/problem was resolved.

DO NOT HIRE LEE'S FOR ANYTHING!
I've watched the slimey and unethical salespeople at Lee's try to sell my mom a new HVAC unit over the past year. They finally succeeded last month and used predatory practices with outrageously expensive financing terms, that, as her daughter, I only found out after the ink had dried. A salesperson even coerced her into unfreezing her credit report (which I had her get frozen in the first place in order to protect her after she fell for another scam) to get the financing locked in while she was in a vulnerable and worried state of mind. The sales guys made the call on her behalf! WHICH IS ILLEGAL AND UNETHICAL. Only someone with power of attorney can do this!
My mother is in her 70s and lives alone so she doesn't have a husband or someone to help her navigate big house repairs and get a second opinion. Lee's knows this -- they've tried to upsell my husband and me into thousands of dollars for unnecessary repairs to our *brand new* HVAC at our own home, so we declined to work with them. I warned my mom to stay away from this company, especially after they consistently flaked on her all summer for her regularly scheduled service, but since I cannot be there 24/7 they took advantage of her. They wore her down after months of trying to sell her these units. They are predatory and unprofessional and I will be reporting this to the department of consumer affairs and the BBB. No one should EVER coerce a senior into unfreezing their credit and trap them into agreeing to a loan they don't fully understand.

I really appreciate the thoroughness of the inspection and showing me the pictures of their findings. I like the fact that they took me to the water heater area and told me what service was going to be done and the reason for it.

There used to be a time when these guys care about the customers, but nowadays they just try to move from one to another. I had a service appointment and was supposed to have a supervisor follow up with me, not only it never happened, but then they just send me a $13,000 repair estimate without any explanations or anything via email. It's been a week and still haven't heard any call or follow up.
I will never ever do business with these guys again. They used do a good job on their work, but absolutely a terrible job on their follow-ups. Also not to mention that preventative maintenance took months and months of rescheduling because they keep canceling! Bye Lee's

We had a roof inspection today with Tyler Gentry. I loved how open and honest he was about what we needed and didn't need. He was very transparent, friendly, and respectful! Absolutely great service! Thank you!

The 2 men that came to check on my air and heat unit were fantastic. They' were both extremely polite and professional.

Omar was very nice, efficient and pleasant. I will be requesting him each time in the future. What a wonderful and polite young man.

After HVAC failed to cool on a 100 plus day, called and a tech was dispatched the next morning. Tech arrived and asked what it was doing and then asked to go straight to the Condenser. Within 5-10 minutes, said he would recommend replacing the capacitor, fan motor and compressor. Parts were not available that day and it would be about a week to get them in. If I wanted to replace the capacitor, it would be 600.00, capacitor and fan motor would be 1900.00 or all three items for about 6500.00. He then said if I wanted the AC back working that day, he could have a crew out to replace the entire 13 year old HVAC at a cost of 20,000.00 plus. If I wanted to wait a week he could order parts to get it going again. He then asked if I wanted to wait a week with our very hot weather or get it fixed today. I informed him I would pay his diagnostic charge/site visit, but we would not be moving forward with any work. He then came back and said for 600.00 he could have it going today but it would ""probably"" only last a day or two before going out again because the 13 year old HVAC was probably damaged by the bad capacitor and needed all the parts replaced he had mentioned earlier. The capacitor was on his truck and within 5-10 minutes the AC was back working and has been for the past month.

Original request was to check my water heater due to a code on my tankless water heater where hot water would go cold. They sent a technician over and first contact with him (Alex) i did not get a good feeling as he stated he likes doing advance diagnostics. During the original visit he couldn't even want to get the code to activate as he said he saw it in the history of the device. I told him i can make the error code happen but he refused. In addition, i told him how another Lee's technician fix the issue last time and told him it was the same code. he did not believe me and had to show him the report from 2 years ago. I asked if he read it as i was a repeat customer and he said yes but wanted to see if I did. Furthermore during first contact he had stated that he prefers doing the advance diagnostics which i felt from the first 5 minutes of talking to him of the issue that was what he would report. So i gave him a shot and he recommended the advance diagnostics where he stated that they would also do some maintenance work like cleaning the rod and checking other areas. I then called and re-scheduled for the advanced diagnostics and he still couldnt fix the error. i wasn't onsite but had someone there and Alex was on with the Water Heater manufacturer and couldnt resolve the issue; which further shows that he is untrained for this specific water heater. I would recommend more training. I have been charged for the advance diagnostics and still have not recieved what the diagnostics is. I am very unsatisfied with the level of service of Alex provided as he was still unable to fix the issue or even provide a diagnostics or a diagnostics report.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Lee's Air, Plumbing, and Heating TO ANYONE. as they may send an untrained technician to you with no supervision. I would recommend you look at the manufacturer of the water heater and look for some trained professionals in the area. Note: I am still waiting on a diagnostics report.

Amanda was efficient, thorough, and explained everything that needed service on my A.C. using terms that were easy to understand. Amanda's work ethic was impeccable AND she was a kind person. She probably still is.
