After getting 3 bids I went with Lee's for a full HVAC replacement. Overall I was pleased with installation (other than a little sloppiness: they had to remove a section of fence that I installed and spaced meticulously, when they reinstalled the planks they were thrown up with no attention to detail--not a huge deal but annoying). After installation the unit stopped working and they came out right away to fix the issue. They also had to redo the condensation waste pipe which was not installed with the correct slope, and also leaked at a fitting. At the first service 6 months, he said I should only have one filter and not to use the higher MERF filters which was one of the reasons I wanted a new one. I guess they didn't size the intakes correctly. I should have two in the unit and one at the return. But no, just one wimpy one in the unit that does nothing for air quality. They scheduled the last ""included""'servicing about 3 months out, so I cut a vacation short to keep the appointment. They were supposed to arrive between 8 and 10-they called at 9:30'sayimg they need to reschedule. I said no thanks and will be looking for a service contract with a competitor.

Stated I had a compression leak and it was going to cost thousands; called another company and they put in a sealant and AC is good to go.

It started with wanting a dryer vent moved. Then I added wanting hot water in my guest bathroom.
I ended up getting a new water heater. The installation was fine. I thought it was all okay until I went to use the bath tub in the guest bath. Still it is barely warm. The water gets hot in the other bath room. I sent notice that it was still not really acceptable. I did say I could not afford to have them return to fix it. But I would expect their returning to find out why.
Overall, they charged what I thought was too much for the dryer vent cleaning. I did research. They did a good job with installation of the water heater. The dryer vent was not moved. So my experience is mixed. I think they are skilled plumbers, but I am not 100% satisfied.

They are crooks! Charged me $168 and did nothing but tell me I needed a whole new a/c unit.. Gave me an estimate of $22561 and I had another company come out, cost me $425 and I am chillin right now.. you guys suck and should refund the $168 because you guys did nothing at all except give me major anxiety.. Lee's came out to asses my AC unit when it wasn't blowing cold air. They said capacitor was bad, and it would cost $768 to replace it. They also tried to scare me into rebuilding the unit for 8K or buying a new system for $25k.

I declined all services. The capacitor was $20 and 15 minutes of my time. My AC works great.

The worst part: I diagnosed the issue myself using Google and YouTube but was worried it was something worse. So I paid $168 for the technician to come out to quote me for an overpriced repaired.

TLDR: Lee's quoted me $768 for a $20 repair I did myself and it cost me $168 to have them out. Save yourself money and go somewhere else.

It's Fourth of July; 112 degrees outside, and I'm watching several people from Lee's install an air conditioning unit at the house across the street. They've been at it for a few hours efficiently in the heat on a holiday. Talk about impeccable service. Definitely calling them from now on for any of our heating and cooling needs.

Just echoing what other people have said here. We had a guy come out to look into why our secondary drain pipe was dripping. He presumably went into the attic to check, but rather than actually diagnosing the problem, he just tried to sell us an entire new HVAC system for $25k+.

He also said we're free to get quotes from other companies, but if they come in way under that price, they're just trying to cut corners and be shady. No, I think you're the shady one here, Lee's.

They must train their technicians to be used car salesmen, too, because we basically paid their $99 diagnostic fee to listen to the tech's scare tactic sales pitch. I've had better experiences at auto shops than this.

We got second opinions from 2 other HVAC companies who basically refuted everything Lee's said. And guess what? They actually DID something. They cleaned out the drain pipe and our AC system was back on track--no $25k replacement required.

The Lee's technician also told us the refrigerant we need for our current system is banned in the US, so it's not even worth repairing the current system. Just buy a whole new one instead. At least they offer financing, right?

Please go somewhere else. If you are in an absolute emergency and have no choice, I guess do what you need to do. But if that's not the case, please--for your own sanity and financial sake--go somewhere else! Their practices are very shady. I'm just glad we only paid $99 to learn our lesson, rather than $25k.

They are not who they say they are. Their service is not about helping people but making a profit. They push their products and when you refuse their offer they change their outlook and approach.

Great job. Service appt showed up early. Diagnosis was quick, needed a new system, we approved the installation and it was completed by 10:00pm THE SAME DAY! Very professional, courteous. We absolutely recommend them!

My home air conditioning stopped working. Lee's stated I needed a new Evaporator and Condenser for 21k. I had to other companies come out and one was 9.5k and the other 9k. I had the same work done for less than half the price! How can they justify this?
