Tacoma came out this morning to figure out what caused a water mark in our garage ceiling. He had to cut out the sheet rock to do so. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. And he cleaned up everything (even swept out the garage). I highly recommend LeapFrog and especially Tacoma!

Had a tankless water heater issue where the installer (not Leapfrog) left off the condensation line. I mean have you seen these things...how do you know what's supposed to be hooked up to it? Well the installer should...but 100% fail, bro.

Ian came out, did a quote and even let me call him back for follow up questions. The quote felt high but honestly any plumber quote feels high because I don't want to pay it. :) But during that follow up phone call I asked about cost and he explained what it takes. I understood and decided to proceed because I felt Ian knows what he's talking about and it needed to be fixed.

My man Ian came out today and rocked out that condensation line PLUS allowed me to pick his brain on a few other plumbing issues. Sorry customer after me waiting for my guy Ian to show up and blow their mind!

The dude is a wealth of knowledge and super nice. I also felt he was honest which is HUGE when dealing with a home service provider. The scheduling and office manager was also great. I called on a Saturday, she picked up and said she'd call me back on Monday when they were open. Without fail she called back.

Very happy with the experience and if Leapfrog folks read this give Ian a bonus. That guy is a huge asset to the company and will call again.

Use caution and beware of dealing with Lindsey. She's the operations manager and tried to extort and bill me without any work order. I've had generally good experiences with Leapfrog employees like Ian, and Carol in the past three plumbing jobs knowing they were a bit more expensive than the competition. However, my most recent job request exposed their customer service has gone downhill. Three rules to longevity in the business: 1) provide excellent customer service 2) provide estimates with time material so customer doesn't have questions regarding the job and 3) only perform work with executed work orders. If a customer has doubt and questions, answer them without attitude or demeaning behavior. All three were failed by Lindsey the operations manager. I'd be happy to share my experience with facts with any owner of business but Lindsey also refused to offer that option. I'm a big believer in small family business, so it's with sadness that I have to share such an experience.

If I could give Leapfrog Plumbing a 6, I would. We've called on them several times over the years, and they are consistently on time, meticulous, and well-priced. We discovered a leaking copper pipe to our freezer on Saturday, and they were at our house on Monday morning. Tacoma was thorough, knowledgeable, clean, and polite. We will definitely use them for all our plumbing needs.

Our experience with LeapFrog was fantastic! We were on a very tight timeline, and needed a water heater replaced in a house that we were purchasing prior to closing. The team was able to coordinate a site visit the day we contacted them, and had the project completed within a couple of days.

Lindsay was extremely helpful and responsive with the scheduling and communication, and JC provided excellent guidance and troubleshooting to ensure that the job got done the right way. We will certainly recommend them to anyone looking for pluming services in the Bay Area.

Irresponsible washer/dryer installers (not Leapfrog) had broken the handle on a recessed hot water valve for Moms washing machine in Rossmoor Walnut Creek. LF was able to schedule us quickly, and were very familiar with Rossmoor rules and procedures (notifying other residents of water being shut off for repair in the shared building, etc.). The plumber might have suggested replacing the entire faucet (which was likely sweated on), requiring much work and sheetrock repair. Instead he was able to repair the handle, preventing water shutoff and other complications, including high cost repairs. The company and staff are honest and fair - which is the key to getting my business again. This is the kind of company you need....

Needed a quick fix of a slightly leaky copper pipe we found behind a wall we were demolishing. Gordon came out on time (actually 30 mins early, but Leapfrog gave us a warning call ahead of time), gave us a quote that beat the other two plumbers we'd talked to and had it fixed within 90 mins. Will definitely use these guys again.

These guys did a great job repairing a gas leak in my front yard and replacing a hot water heater quickly. Maurice evaluated it, JC was a wonderful problem solver, and the plumbers, Josh and Kevin, were amazing--very skilled and strong (the hot water heater was too big for the space, and they had to drag it up narrow stairs). A very can-do operation!
My only quibble is the landscapers they used--owner's name is Hugo--for replacing the gas pipe. They were not careful and destroyed a flower bed, though it had been promised to me that they were going to be attentive to it. Also they left the lawn in a lumpy mess. When I complained they did come back and fixed part of it.
In fairness, I had forgotten to point out a second section (in plain view) that was also lumpy, but they did not look around even a little bit at their work when they came back, so a mound is still sitting in my front lawn. They would not come back a second time.
That said, I definitely would use LeapFrog again, hopefully with a different landscaper.

I'm still working on an active leak in my condo unit but LeapFrog helped determine that it was not 'mine'. JC was patient and methodical in assessing the problem, and made sure I had the proper equipment to go forward in the 'fixing' of it, as the Homeowner Association selected a different company for all the units affected. My thanks to JC! I'd recommend him and this company for your plumbing needs.

Two Independent Contractors in Orinda recommended Leapfrog to me and I would like to thank the Owner (Maurice) for the outstanding service I received from his Employee Kevin, Today. Kevin was professional and addressed my gas leak as well as repaired an issue with my toilet. He also patiently listened to my questions about several improvement projects that we have and confidently indicated that Leapfrog could do the work! I will definitely call Gretchen to make our future appointments with Leapfrog and plan to spread the positive word in Orinda about a Company you can trust! The quote I received from another Company named 'BF Plumbing' was exponentially higher than what I paid Today! Thank you again Maurice.
