After a week of a faint smell of mildew, I finally checked our water meter to find that we did in fact have something leaking but could not be seen. I called 3 companies with no immediate answer. I called Leak Star and Timo answered. He was calm and professional as I explained our issues. He was able to quickly diagnose our problem as a hot water slab leak and set a time to come check it out. He was timely and knew exactly what had to be done. The following day I had questions, I called, he picked up, knew exactly who I was and able to put my mind at ease.
After a half day's work, our leak had stopped, we had a new pipe with minimal impact on our drywall. I am beyond pleased with the work and the professionalism. I highly recommend and if we ever do have another situation, they will be my first call!

The reviews are accurate. Fast response and super nice/helpful man. I have a leak in my yard somewhere and it is so deep and pointing downward so his equipment couldn't detect BUT he referred me to someone with specialty equipment and verified there is in fact a big leak. He didn't charge me anything either! Great to find nice, honest neighborly people like this.

We decided to repipe our house after two leaks that fortunately happened in the garage. We contacted Leak Star after checking reviews. Timo gave us fair estimate with the 3 day job that did not require us to vacate our house.
He has a very pleasant and calm demeanor and his work required minimal drywall removal inside the house. He also minimize the debris and cleaned up as he cut the drywall.
I work with contractors at my place of employment( large company) and Timo is better than most of the contractors that my company hires for projects.

We all hate water leaks, especially those in hard to find places like in slabs or in the wall. Unfortunately any house with indoor plumbing will run into that problem someday. We had a leak in the wall and needed help on a weekend. Called Timo on a Saturday and he scheduled to come by on a Sunday. Thank goodness as walking over to the community pool restroom to brush your teeth and all the rest because your water is turned off at the curb is limited fun. Not being a big leak it was harder to find as apparently the sound of the rushing water is one way Timo finds the leak. Timo worked diligently on Sunday and Monday chasing the source of the water, removing small sections of the drywall as he tried to identify the exact source. Finally later on Monday he felt he had the answer and replaced a section of pipe and left us with dehumidifiers and fans drying out the areas that had water intrusion. On Friday he returned to pick up the fans and dehumidifiers only to find that the replaced pipe was either not the original leak or at least not the only pipe leaking. So again Timo and crew went to work removing a bit more drywall (but leaving cabinets installed) until they found what was likely the main source of the leak. Quickly fixing that, they again set up the fans and dehumidifiers for the next 3 days and, voila, that time the driers worked and no new water was found. Timo recommends others for the drywall repair and renovation necessary, and I have reviewed them separately, but I do want to say that I think Timo did a wonderful job finding the leak(s) by removing a minimum of drywall and carpeting. I have had other leaks on other properties before and remember clearly the near total deconstruction of the house to find and repair the leak. In Timo's case the drywall repair was minimal with no cabinets being removed and only a few 2 x 3 foot sections of drywall being removed. That quality of work is huge when you are at the renovation stage and need to get reconstruction done after your leak is found and repaired.

Timo came out on a Sunday due to an emergency pipe leak in our master bath. He was punctual and efficient. He explained every step. I have had many plumbers over the years do various projects at my home. Most I would never use again. Timo is the exception. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

Timo is awesome! I called him with a leak problem that I had and he was very helpful. I explained to him that I started to find the leak and that I was close to it, he gave me a quick 101 on leaks and told me to keep digging until I actually see it. I texted him photos of my dig and he was quick to respond. When I found the leak it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be so I was able to repair it myself.
