Timo is awesome! I called him with a leak problem that I had and he was very helpful. I explained to him that I started to find the leak and that I was close to it, he gave me a quick 101 on leaks and told me to keep digging until I actually see it. I texted him photos of my dig and he was quick to respond. When I found the leak it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be so I was able to repair it myself. We were not sure where the leak was in our house, either in the walls or in the slab. Timo found the leak promptly with his equipment. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to seal off the pipe very quickly and in a professional manner. We were glad we had called him and will not hesitate to use him again for any other plumbing needs (which in our old house, will certainly happen again.)

Late last Friday, my downstairs neighbor informed me that my water heater was leaking. Saturday morning I did some searching and found Timo. And thank goodness I did! I think poor Timo thought it was just a water heater replacement, because what did I know about water damage, mold and the dissolution of a concrete pad? Thankfully the water heater is out on the balcony in a small closet, otherwise the damage to my unit and my neighbor's would have been much more extensive. As it was, Timo had to help tear out the damaged drywall for both my unit and the neighbors, then brought in equipment to dry out the closet. And then, because he's just a good guy, he found a drywall installer for me (even though that was not his job). And THEN, because the concrete pad literally had turned to sand because of the leak, he mixed and poured a new pad for me. Remember, he's supposed to do plumbing, not construction! But, Timo did it all with professionalism, kindness and as quickly as he could. To top it off, he listened patiently to my random lawyer questions and took a lot of time to walk me through my options and provided me sound advice, on top of stellar service. I would recommend Timo to anyone.

We had questionable slab leak from having warm/hot spots on our travertine floor, therefore my husband called Leak Star on a Monday at 7AM and was provided an estimated quote over the phone. We already knew the price range after speaking with neighbors. Timo who answered the phone call, came out by 9AM that same day to find the leak source inside a wall. He informed us that it was okay to run cold water, but to turn off the hot water source, and to only turn back on the hot water briefly.
Our project was not only to fix the leak, but to re-route the lines which was an all day job that was started the next day at 8AM since it would require 2 members. During the job, they were tidy which was important to me given that I was taking care of a newborn at the time. My husband who is a big DIYer for home projects appreciated Timo's experience and knowledge. We would consider using Leak Star in the future again.

I smelled gas in my laundry room and called Leak Star at about 8:30am. Timo arrived at 10:15am (the promised time) and the leak was fixed by 11:15am including a trip to get a part.
