Hire these guys!!

I called them up after the top part of my faucet flew off & hit me in the face. I figured my faucet was broken & needed to be replaced.
They showed up, screwed it back together for me & charged me NOTHING.
They said my faucet was good quality & they didn't know why it flew off like it did, but they couldn't, in good conscience, charge me anything. Especially since they were here less than 5 minutes.

Seriously.

Nothing was broken inside the faucet and it was such a simple fix, and these guys could've charged me for it, yet they didn't.
I WILL be calling them the next time I need a plumber.

We heard water running behind our shower wall; so we checked Yelp and you all led us to Leak Free Plumbing. Called on a Sunday and they were able to fit us in same day no extra charge for Sunday service. After checking every way they could to get at the leak, they informed us that they would need to cut through the tile.

They cut exactly one tile, very neatly, and fixed the leak! I couldn't believe they could work from a 4x4 inch hole, but they did. Neat and clean job at a reasonable price. Couldn't be happier.

It breaks my heart to report that I've had a horrible experience with this company, since they were so great the first couple of times I used them.

This time, I was faced with a serious plumbing emergency, and smugly told all my friends that I didn't need to worry because I had honest, reputable, and expert plumbers from Leak Free working on it. They diagnosed the problem correctly (I guess), told me that the initial bill would be in the $3,000 range, and went to work. Not a problem.

The problem came when after careful inspection they discovered more problems and added a whopping $6500 to the bill, asking me to write out a check for nearly $10,000. When I asked if they took credit cards, the response was that they would add another $300 to the bill because, you know, the credit card companies charge, too. By this time, something didn't smell right (no pun intended). I am a fairly well educated professional, but when it comes to matters of plumbing, electricity, auto repairs, and the like, I am as vulnerable as an infant, and these financial surprises make me really nervous.

Having watched my share of Judge Judy shows, I knew I needed to get a second opinion, which I probably should have gotten before all of this happened. I also should have gotten a written contract, which they did not provide. Nor did they provide a closing bill, so I don't know what their deal is but as I said, something didn't smell right.

I called an old friend who happens to be a plumber and he sent someone out right away. I found that not only did I not need the extra $6500 in repairs--he also showed me via a video why the pipe was just fine (even my untrained eyes could understand that water moving through a fairly clean, unbroken pipe is a very good thing)--but he also explained that the price for the initial repairs was way too high. When I told him the proposed price for the extra line, he nearly spit tacks.

For the first time in 15 years of owning various properties, I made the difficult decision to fire the workers and bring in a new team to finish the job. I paid the Leak Free guy almost the entire amount because they were only willing to lower the bill a tiny bit, even though they didn't need to finish the job since I fired them halfway through. I happily paid the new plumber to finish the job, saving me about $5,000.

I was told that this kind of situation happens a lot. A plumbing problem is an emergency, and people take advantage of people at their most vulnerable point. Human nature, I suppose, but I didn't much like it.

Alas, now I'll need to search for someone else to call when these emergencies arise, as they inevitably will.

We had a great experience with Leak Free Plumbing. Steve and his team worked for two days in the beating sun in order to restore our sewer line which was decayed and nearly failing. They were professional, kind and diligent about doing the best job possible. Definitely plan on using them again.

Leak Free plumbing is amazing! Ashot was very kind. Water & Power notified us of excessive water usage in our new home before we had even moved in. We called Ashot and he patiently walked us through step-by-step over the phone how to detect whether we had a water leak, thereby saving us the cost of having to perform a leak detector test. He was genuinely happy to help us out of the goodness in his heart. Leak Free Plumbing would without question be the first business I call for any future plumbing needs.

Ash has been a real find. My previous plumber was driving me crazy, never returning calls, impossible to schedule with. Ash on the other hand returned my calls right away, and was easy to communicate with (calling or texting).

He was able to schedule us quickly - he was willing to come out and give a free quote for a job, and we ended up having him come do the work a few weeks later. He can do weekends which made all the difference for us.

He replaced our bathtub faucet, added a support beam to the pipes inside the wall to help increase sturdiness, and helped fix a separate leak he noticed while there. His wasn't the cheapest quote I got for the work, but you get what you pay for and his quality of service was worth it.

He is straight forward, knows his stuff, is easy going, easy to schedule with and so far we're happy with the work. We plan to switch to Ash and Leak Free Plumbing as our new go-to plumber moving forward.

We're home owners so I'm sure new plumbing issues will come up over the years, I hope our future experiences are like this one. I'd like to find a company with consistent quality of service and work that I can be loyal too for many years to come.

Easily the best plumbing service we have ever used! These guys are polite, professional, and extremely detail oriented. A great experience overall!

We discovered we had two major breaks in our sewer line, and a previous plumbing service quoted us over double the cost of Leak Free's estimate. I'm so glad we waited for a second opinion. Their workmanship was outstanding!

In the future, we will only use these guys!

I called Leak Free Plumbing to deal with a slow drip under my kitchen sink. Ash showed up right on time and was both friendly and professional. He took a close look at my issue, ran some tests, explained things very clearly to me... and DIDN'T CHARGE ME A DIME! I guarantee you these guys are not going to gouge you or do work you don't need done. Ash was incredibly honest and refused to let me pay him for the long trek to DTLA. He even gave me some suggestions on additional DIY repairs I could do in the future. I will certainly be turning to Leak Free for any future plumbing needs.
