From a young age, Lu learned the trade by working with his father, who had a landscaping and custom water feature business. Early on, Lu understood that customer satisfaction was key to securing repeat clients. He learned the value of listening to clients and delivering products that align with their needs. As a young adult, he worked for a water filtration company. He specialized in installing tailored water filtration systems for homes and businesses. In his early twenties, Lu started his official plumbing apprenticeship. After facing health issues in his wife's family, they moved to Georgia, and Lu launched LAV Plumbing.
