Lu grew up working alongside his father, who ran a landscaping and custom water feature company. Early on, Lu understood that customer satisfaction was key to securing repeat clients. He also learned to listen to clients and deliver a product that meets their needs. In his early adulthood, he gained experience at a water filtration company. He installed custom water filtration systems in both residential and commercial settings. Lu embarked on his plumbing apprenticeship journey in his early twenties. Due to health challenges in his wife's family, they moved to Georgia, where he founded LAV Plumbing.
