Want to post another 5-Star review for Lav.
Interestingly, when I re-read my last one, it was exactly
what I wanted to say this time!

I have not had a lot of opportunities to write positive
reviews for contractors.
So, when there is such a chance, I really want to
yell it from the rooftops!

I needed another AC installed.
I messed up and only thought about the width and the height.
Didn't take into account that I have bars behind the window that would limit the depth!

Lav took off the brackets and reinstalled them in a spot that
would make the AC fit.
And again, non nonsense!
So many guys out there would say ""that was a bigger job then
expected. I need more money"".

Lav is such an honorable man in addition to a pleasant
demeanor and great work!

Lav showed up on time, in the middle of a snowstorm, and took care of my plumbing problems. He was very thorough and careful, and made sure the fixes were good long term solutions, rather than easy, short term fixes.

Lav has cared for a couple projects in our home. Every time, he was straightforward, honest, and consultative. The quality of his work is terrific.

Most recently, I needed support to fix a screen door. He arrived as scheduled, walked me through what he was doing, and suggested I get new door springs. after installation, the door is in better condition than it was when we moved in!

Very horrible and unprofessional company, they go around spamming their links and ads as they are desperate for work on other people posts, not even related to construction. Clearly, no one is hiring them for a reason. We asked them to stop and was ignored

My boiler started leaking on a very cold day. The oil company needed a contractor to make a bigger hole to access the boiler. Within an hour, Lav got to Levittown from Brooklyn. He was professional and thorough, and, thanks to him, heat was restored the same day. His price was beyond reasonable. I'd highly recommend him to anyone!! Thanks, Lav!!!

Lav Handy Work did an excellent job repairing the broken sliding door to our home office. Syon is very professional, personable and communicative! He was always very quick to respond to my texts and gave a fair quote based on photos/text info and stuck to it. I texted him the evening before, and he was able to come the next morning by 9am and finished the repair in less than two hours as he had indicated.

The door is very heavy and has been repaired unsuccessfully twice before so I was worried about whether it was actually able to be fixed. Syon explained his approach and what he was doing at every step, and if something he tried didn't work, he explained why and what he was going to do instead. He genuinely seemed to enjoy the problem solving which was awesome! He also guarantees his repairs and is very confident in his work which makes me feel great about having gotten his help with this.

Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs help with repairs around the home!

We also have two curious cats, and he was pet friendly :)

I have used Lav multiple times for work at some commercial properties I manage His prices are fair his response times are fantastic, work is well done. He is always willing to work around what times are best for the businesses including being available on weekends. I have no complaints and will continue to call him for further needs at these properties.

My Experience With Lav Was Amazing ! For Starters I Contacted Him At 6 AM Via Yelp Asking For Work To Be Done And He Immediately Answered Back ! He Also Gave Pricing ( Which Was Amazing ) And A Time To See Me Later That Day ! He Stayed True To His Time And I Didn't Have To Wonder If We We're Still On Because He Kept Me Updated Throughout The Day ! I Have Not Had Very Good Experiences With Handy Men But He Was Polite , Professional , He Did EVERYTHING That Was Asked Of Him ( Even A Little Extra ) In A Timely Fashion And Correctly With An Optimistic And Positive Attitude . He Also Explained Step By Step What He Was Doing As It Was Being Done For My Family Members Who Are Super Inquisitive. He Will Definitely Be Back ! As I Said Amazing Work From An Amazing Person !
