Roger was by yesterday to do the annual check up and maintenance on my heating system. He was on time, explained everything, took pictures from inside the attic and was very thorough. I noticed my heater not working in the morning, called Legacy at 11am, they came out in the afternoon and had it fixed by 3pm! Amazing! Wonderful customer service from the lady that made the appointment. Max the technician was so polite and he diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it! (See Update Below) Bad experience! I had them come out this past July to fix an exterior leaky main valve to the house. The plumber cut and damaged my vinyl siding to get to the pipe that needed to be accessed for the repair. Full disclosure: he did advise me of this before he got started, but he also reassured me that the vinyl would be repaired and look the way it was before he cut it. Instead, he left an ugly mismatched compound patch and called it a day. The plumber said he was going to send a vinyl specialist in a week to replace the vinyl. They never showed up. And that wasn't even the worst problem. Fast forward to today, I find that the join to the main line where the plumber attached the new brass pipe is leaking. I called them today to see if they could cover their work. The receptionist told me that if it was not the part that the plumber worked on then they were going to charge me for the visit?! I even offered to take a picture and send it over before they showed up, and the lady on the phone kept trying to justify the visit charge for their own poor workmanship...Their ""Lasting Legacy"" as far as I'm concerned is poor workmanship and bad policy. I will seek services elsewhere..

Update: Soon after I left this review, the owner of the company called me personally to apologize for the receptionists handling my call. He said she was fairly new and didn't understand some of the nuances of their policies. I explained to him what my complaints were and conveyed to him that the service had been unsatisfactory. He listened, understood, and was nice enough to persuade me to give them another chance at keeping my business and making things right. But he told me that he was even going to send me the same guy who had done the job before, and I told him absolutely not! So he sent Chris instead to fix the poor work that had been done before. Chris fixed the leak and I checked it today (next day: it seems to still be holding steady if anything changes for the worst believe me I'll be back on this post!). At any rate, I want to give this repair some more set time (1 week or so)...I'll be back to update my rating when I see that it's still holding.

I have never posted a negative review before, but I also feel very strongly that I would be doing a disservice to others if I didn't share my experience.

I will say that the tech Andrew who came out to service the AC and Heating units was very pleasant, BUT it was his/LL's aggressive, fraudulent attempt to sell me approximately $5000 of ""needed"" services afterward as well as an ""membership program"" for $240 that was unacceptable, especially given that I am a senior citizen, living alone. I truly felt preyed upon and victimized.

I immediately called Banning AC & Heating; they combed through both units, and apart from a ""hard start"" component in my AC for which they charged $285.

LL contacted me the next day to schedule a follow-up appointment, as well as multiple times since then in spite of my advising them that I would be getting a second opinion following their appointment and that I would contact THEM if I needed their services. What a nightmare and it has been really upsetting.

Had them come out on July 4, must say on time. After troubleshooting the unit I was encouraged to replaced unit since it could not be fixed by the technician. I had high hopes for this company, but it's just like any other big name companies, just want to sell units and not fix equipment. Had another company come out a week later only issue was the capacitors and recommended to replace fan motor. Cool crispy air since.

Zachary McFarland came out to install bathroom fixtures. He did a great job. One new faucet was not connecting. This could have a caused a leak resulting in water damage. He recommended I send it back and purchase another one. He came the next work day and installed the new faucet. I appreciate that he didn't install a bad faucet or I would have had a more expensive problem on my hands. Thanks Zach.

The technician, Gilbert, was knowledgeable and again very courteous. He explained all that he was doing and showed before and after pictures. We also received a senior discount.
