The old grump at the counter, Bill, is mean and dismissive. What a disappointment to be treated so badly. So much for trying to patronize a small business. They deserve to be destroyed by the big box stores.

This is for the Reseda location Northridge has always been very helpful.
I called Northridge looking for a part they informed me they did not carry it anymore but Reseda still carrys the item. I called Reseda I told them what I needed they asked me to hold.I was on hold for 20 minutes when finally someone came back on the line I had to tell them all over again what I was looking for they then laid the phone on the counter were I could hear them. Again I was waiting for 15 minutes I called them from another phone where I could hear it ringing they answered and asked if they could help me when I informed them I was on the line laying on the counter they said they were busy but not once ever said they were to busy to help when they Put me on hold .Very rude people I would have no problem had they told me to call back or taken my number to call me back. I have bought a lot of things from Northridge it is very sad when a business does not care about customers never shop Reseda.

Not only did they steer me in the direction of the part I needed, but they patiently told me how to do the install. They were quick, friendly and helpful. I'll be going back when it comes time to remodel my bathroom and kitchen.

Being a girl sometimes it's intimidating to walk into a store like this if these guys are very kind genuine and seem pretty damn honest! My neighbor/plumber referred me and I'm so glad he did thank you Michael

My plumber had really messed up and over-tightened my reverse osmosis water filter housing. I tried four different types of wrench to unscrew the housing, but nothing worked. Before giving up and buying a new system, I took the water filter housing to Larry & Joe's to seek their advice. Three of the guys there went out of their way to help me unscrew the housing of my old system using an unconventional method. They saved me $$$. Goodbye Home Depot and Lowe's!

Do not shop at this store! On 9/12/17 we bought an incinerator (98.50) and a Pfister faucet ($112.50). We used the plumbers that they recommended to install both. The faucet whistled each time you turned it on! Called the same plumber back and they said the water pressure was fine, the regulator was fine and that we needed a new cartridge for the faucet. Called Larry and Joe's and they said I needed to have the faucet removed and brought into the store and they would see what was wrong with it! I explained that the plumber THEY RECOMMENDED to us diagnosed the problem They said I need to have them uninstall it ($90.50) and bring it to the store and IF there was a problem, they would replace it Then I need to have the plumber reinstall it $90.50 more. I didn't understand why they did not believe the plumber they recommended and just replaced the parts. This faucet was costing me a fortune to have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled all due to the fact that it was defective to begin with!! I called Pfister and they were WELL AWARE of the cartridge problem and said a new one would be sent immediately. We have shopped at Larry & Joe's for over 20 years and don't know if there is new ownership at the Vanowen store or just rude,incompetent sales people. What I do know is I will NEVER shop there again. They have proven that they care nothing about their customers.

I stopped in the store to see if I could find a plumbing part. Not only did Ron find the part, he took apart one of their fixtures & showed how the part fits. His service was awesome. You can't get this type of one on one customer care in larger home improvement store. This is the first place I'll go to from now on for my plumbing needs.
