Friendly and helpful service. Never crowded. Fair prices no nonsense my kinda place. Home depot or lowes didn't even carry a simple drain cover ive been looking for over a year
A measely 3 dollar item but Bill was very helpful and took time to help me get the right grate for my ancient backyard outdated home so that in turn earns my future business. Also refer you to honest plumbers (yes not a typo)
Still open during the bill gates virus, every day.

I called ahead and they suggested I email a photo of my old shower valve cartridge. They were able to match it up and confirmed they had the necessary parts in stock before I went over there. At the store, I also found some extra items I needed for the house. They were very patient and extremely knowledgeable. Everything they suggested and sold me worked out perfectly, and the prices were pretty fair, as well.

Came here a couple of times a very cool spot, like an old school hardware store. They didn't have what I was looking for but was very helpful, regardless.

Great Customer service, with super knowledgeable people.
I love that they are so willing to help.

Update - July 2019
My last time to ever use this shop. Two employees, Juan and Fernando. Left me and two other guys standing and waiting while Juan was helping another customer. They were out in the back yard it turned out. Cash register till left open and unattended by the way. Fernando was nowhere to be seen until Juan eventually returned and checked me out. Then Fernando struts in but didn't seem interested in helping anyone. From both of them... No courtesy... none at all... just take money and give change. Then smug expressions from both and a smug ""what else did you want"". Don't know how to thank a paying customer. Refused to provide contact for management ... ""Out of town for next two weeks"". When informed that I wouldn't be returning in future, they shrugged their shoulders. Fernando gave clear indication that he was going out of his way to be difficult.
Interestingly, over the phone Fernando seems quite articulate, informative, and polite but he can't seem to do that in a face-to-face situation. The other guy... he needs a lesson from his mommy in politeness, or training from his boss because he just doesn't know how to work with the folks that ultimately pay his salary.
Too bad for you, Larry & Joe... your not the only plumbing shop in town... bye bye.
Old review:
Larry & Joe's is my go-to plumbing supply when I need two things: advise and quality parts. Never gone wrong with either.
But it's not without a down side. The return policy is completely draconian. The only way to beat it is to not participate. So I only buy what I'm absolutely sure I need and will use. Any doubt, and I'm making a second stop at Lowe's. Sometimes they have lots of stuff but not often what I need... for a variety of reasons. Sometimes there is a bin but nothing in it. Sometimes there is a bin but with stuff other than should be in it. Sometimes there's a bin but the parts have been tampered with. Sometimes they have parts ""in the back room"" but more often than not they don't. I suppose that's the challenge with a smaller shop.
Prices seem always on the high side. Often because it's better quality parts. Other times, who
No matter, I've always had good experiences with the staff. Helpful, direct, and courteous.

The only place I go for plumbing parts and advice! Seldom a wait, assistants are always ready with advice and instructions. They are the best! A special shout out to Bill, who has gone above and beyond, carefully helping me through some nuisance (as they always wind up being!) kitchen sink plumbing problems. I'm so grateful that these types of small specialized stores are still around. Service, attention and expertise, not to mention obscure parts inventory, that you just can't get at the large diy stores. Also, the very convenient parking and the oh-so-easy in and out of the store. Compare that to Home Depot and Lowe's!! I urge all to keep these independent shops open by giving them your business! We've lost too many already (e.g. Ace Hardware, Angel Appliance...). :(

Has all the old plumbing that lowes no longer carries. I also dig their 1980 computers.

Called to ask if they had a water heater in stock, the man that answered the phone told me he doesn't know. I gave him the brand, size, and model number and he replied, ""Yeah, I don't know if we have that."" How hard is it to check you stupid idiot that's the reason I called. Took my business elsewhere. Would not recommend. Extremely sarcastic and unprofessional.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I went in looking for a shower valve part, and an elderly man, Bill helped me. Now, I'm not a plumber but I do exactly what part i needed which Bill told me was discontinued, which I already knew but was hopeful they might have one laying around. When I asked Bill what he thought my options were, he started raising his voice and if I asked or question or told him, that's not what I wanted to do, he yelled at me. I asked him why he was talking to me that way and he said because I didn't know what I was talking about. I asked him what his name was and he yelled out B...I...L...L.. BILL. Omg, i didn't deserve any of that. I will never going back there again.

I was sent here by Home Depot. I needed a replacement drain hose for portable air conditioner. There was a younger guy and an older guy working when I went in on Saturday, August 28th. I told them my needs, and they said they couldn't help me. I helped myself to a washing machine drain hose that was the right size. Younger guy tells me it won't work. Tells me, as I am paying, that they charge a 50% restocking fee. I say that I won't be bringing it back - it was $15.00. Get home, screw it on (using plumber 's tape (as one should), and guess what? IT WORKS PERFECTLY!!! No leaks, draining just fine. I really hate when guys try to put me off because they believe I don't know what I'm doing. In this case I didn't KNOW, but I had a reasonably good idea of what I needed. And I was right. Why they wanted to discourage a sale is beyond me.
